Vitani grinned. "No fear," she said. "Brother's usually nice." She motioned with her tail and started off again. Soon enough, they reached Pride Rock. Looking up to the den at the top, she called out, "Brother, come out here. There is a lion who requests your presence."

Kovu walked out of the den to see Vitani with a new lion. He sized up the newcomer, wondering if he was a threat. "Vitani, who is this?" he asked.

[Applejack]

Vitani shrugged with a grin. "Says his name is Haraka or something. He spoiled my hunt, complimented my name, stated he was a rogue and that he was looking for a pride to stay at. Quickly, he added that he wasn't looking to sieze a throne, but that he needed a place to say." She glanced over at Hakara. "I figured the best thing to do would be to bring him before you."

Kovu laughed slightly before getting serious again. "Well, Hakara, why don't you come up here and tell me everything about yourself. After that, I will decide," he said. Hakara nodded and did so. The two lions went to the top of Pride Rock to be alone. After talking for some time, they returned. "Hakara can stay, but he has to promise that he will help around here," Kovu said. "I promise," Hakara replied.

Vitani sighed softly. "Let me guess," she said. "You want me to watch him, dont you." She looked from lion to lion. "You always like to spoil my fun, after all."

Kovu laughed. "Nope. I need you to be the leader of the hunting party while Jasmine is pregnant. I will look after him myself," he said.

Haij giggled, walking over to Vitani. "With that kind of promotion, I bet you're quite excited, but.. I don't think you'll even show it."

Vitani sighed. "Thank the Great Kings above," she said softly. "Well, now that the herd has moved on for now, thanks to someone I will not be mentioning, what would you like me to do for you, my king?" She bowed her head, almost mockingly, and chuckled. She swiped a paw at Haij, cuffing him on the head. "How'd you like to be promoted to my personal clawing bag?" She chuckled, then threw her head back, laughing.

He looked at Vitani, giggling again then became serious. "Any who.. We need to talk about something, Vitani." He cleared his throat. "I'm worried about Kiara," he said softly to her. "She seems to feel like she's been betrayed, and the fact she doesn't probably like the idea of Kovu and Jasmine having cubs."

Vitani shook her head gently, and spoke just as softly to him. "Don't worry about it," she said. "Why do you think I wanted to talk to her before I let you near her?" She chuckled and shoved him gently. "I'm smart, unlike some of us. I already came up with something with her. Don't concern yourself with it. Let sister do all the work."
