Dakari was quite shocked to hear that. Both the part about her father and the part about her former mate leaving just because he had a son. "Ge will kill his grandson just because the cub doesn't have a father?" he asked, not really believing what he had just heard from her. He quickly shook his head after this, "But what if they find out that I'm not his father?"

Amana hung her head "its a law in our pride, if any lioness has a cub without the father being present the cub will be killed, doesn't matter who the lioness is" she told him, she hated that law, while she grew up she had seen many cubs being killed because of it "and they won't find out, the only ones that could tell them would be us" she told Dakari

Dakari knew that if he refused to do this the cub would be left to spend his childhood in a cave with his mother only seeing him in the evenings. "Wont your father hate me? I mean I theoretically came from no where, got you pregnant and just disappeared until now." he was quiet for a moment. "Wait, what if Olly will show up on his own as an "abandoned" cub? Will your father still kill him?"

Amana smiled "I only came back 2 nights ago so tecnically you would have only left for one night" she told him "Olly would not understand why he couldn't call me mommy and he is only young, what if he slipped up and did call me it in front of my father" she asked

Dakari sighed, knowing that she was right. "Wont your father ask why you haven't told him about me the moment you all met me?" he thought for a moment, "You should tell him that you were worried about his reaction or something like that." then he realized that he had just indirectly agreed to pretend to be Olly's father. He sighed, "Alright, I'll do it..." he looked at her and managed a slight smile, "Do you think Olly likes me?" Amana said that Olly wanted nothing to do with his father, but how would the cub young react to suddenly having to pretend that a stranger was his father and will he be able to pull that off?

Amana nuzzled Dakari excitedly "well Olly has never known his father so this little lie will just be between the two of us, Olly will like you, he will just have to get to know you, he will have to think that you are really his father so that he doesn't slip up about it tho" she informed him

Dakari knew that he was doing the right thing for Olly's well being, so he nodded at what Amana said, nuzzling her back. "And when he's old enough to understand? Will you tell him then?"

Amana looked over to Oleksiy "yes, when he is old enough to understand" she told Dakari, she nuzzled 5akari again,thanking him for what he was about to do, then she looked back at Oleksiy "Olly come in here sweetie" she told the little lion

Dakari smiled and accepted her nuzzle, hoping that nothing will go wrong. "This can also be good parenting practice for me." he said, smiling at her flirtatiously and licking her cheek once. When she called Olly inside Dakari hoped that Amana telling Olly that he was his father wouldn't be too embarrassing. But in overall, Olly was really cute, and since Dakari really like Amana, why not help them both out?

Amana chuckled " so you want to have cubs some day?" She asked with a giggle, as 0leksiy padded into the den Amana walked behind him and nudged him towards Dakari "Olly this is your father" she lied, she hated lying to him but it was the only way to spare his life.

Oleksiy looked up at the male stood in front of him, his bright turquoise eyes shimered as they filled with tears "daddy" he said as he nuzzled the large lion that he now thought was his father.
