I think Kiara's a good character, and I think she's got a good heart and good intentions. I just can't argue with that! She's a little self-centered sometimes, or obnoxious, but I think it makes her realistic, and I honestly believe that she'll turn out to be a fantastic Queen. She's very beautiful, and I love her cubbeh form too. I love her spunkiness and her willingness to forgive and forget and the fact that she brings the Pridelanders and Outlanders together with Kovu's help.

I also ADORE her relationship with Kovu!

I do love Kiara, she's my favourite character by all means. 1, because she reminds me of myself. 2. I love her design, because she looks a little different and so do I. 3. She's funny. She's not perfect because sometimes I think she can be a bit self-centered like Ophelia said, but that's it really.

I voted "I LOVE Kiara, she's a perfect character!"

I've seen a lot of hate for Kiara, and I feel it was unjustified. This may sound crazy, but I actually like Kiara and Simba in SP! I think that many TLK fans, myself included, expected Simba to be almost exactly like Mufasa in the sequel, and expected Simba's son to be almost exactly like Simba. The more I think about it, the more unoriginal it would have been. Instead, we got SP Simba, who is a good king but has trouble because he tries too hard to be Mufasa. And we got Kiara, who is adventurous like Simba, but doesn't really want to take over the throne and doesn't grow up to be as big and powerful of a lioness as Nala did in TLK. I thought that Kiara's character was a nice contrast to Simba and Nala's characters in TLK.

Kiara gets disliked for not being that smart and being a bad huntress, but I think both of those character traits are part of what makes her interesting, and they make sense. Simba was overprotective, so she didn't have the chance to learn as much through adventures as other lions did, and of course she wouldn't have been able to develop good hunting skills because with Simba's overprotectiveness she wouldn't have been allowed to chase much more than butterflies until the day of her first real hunt. I think Kiara haters also forget to take "adult" Kiara's age into account: she's probably the lion equivalent of 15 human years, whereas adult Simba and Nala were in their early 20's in TLK. Didn't you get better at things and get smarter between ages 15 and 20? I sure did

So yeah, that's my 2 cents on Kiara XD

I voted that I liked her, and she's not a bad character. I'm not a huge fan that goes crazy over her, but I don't hate her either. I like that she's not perfect, but she kind of annoyed me sometimes.

Ugh, I very much dislike Kiara. I think she would have been better though, if she had her older (twin, but still older) brother, Kopa. Wouldn't it be cute to see him get that brother protectiveness/jealousy when Kiara meets (and starts to like) Kovu? Maybe then Simba wouldn't have to be such an over-protective annoying father. And maybe Rafiki wouldn't have to play match-maker. That was not a good roll for him. Anyway, I think that could unfold into an interesting story.
But what I don't like about Kiara:
-A HUGE flirt at, what? A month old? And the flirting stays as she gets older, where she flirts with Kovu when she really should be being cautious.
-Annoying voice
-TOTAL drama queen
-Really mean when she yells "You will never be Mufasa!" I mean, that must have REALLY hurt Simba. You just don't bring stuff up like that. And I don't really think she had the grounds to say it, either. Did she even hear Simba's side of the story?

Like I said, I feel kind of neutral about her, but you have some very good points. It would have been good if she had Kopa as her brother.
