Kovu tried to awaken Jasmine, with no success. "Vitani, I wish you were here!" he said aloud, truly wishing Vitani was present at the moment. He went out to the edge of Pride Rock and roared as loud as he could, hoping she would hear him.

Jasmine started to come round as she heard her mate roar loudly she stayed lying down thou as she still felt a bit faint "I'm ok honey, just a bit exhausted from running, but I think kiara was creeping up on me" she said as she hung her head, disappointed in her sister

Kiara looked at the handsome male "yeh you can join me, oh but just for the record I can look after myself" she said in her usual stubborn manor.

Kovu sighed in relief. "Jasmine, if I see her again, I'm going to have a long talk with her," he said.

"But the question is, for how long?" The adult gave out an annoying chuckle. "I'm telling the truth. You need me, Kiara."

Kovu looked around. "Let's just hope that Vitani gets back soon. I'll need to inform her of this latest happening," he said, waiting for his sister to return.

Jasmine nuzzled her mate " I just wish kiara would see sense and come home" she said as a tear ran down her face, she then lay her head down on the ground and sighed " I miss her, what would my father say if he knew what was going on, this is just like what happened with my grandfather and Scar all over again" she explained remembering the story's her father used to tell her and Kiara as cubs and how they used to play and act out the story's as Simba told them, "its so hard not to see her every day, she kinda grows on you" she joked, trying to cheer herself up a bit, she then closed her eyes and again started thinking about all of the good times her and her sister shared.

Kiara looked at him with a cheeky smile, she then pounced on him, playfully pinning him to the ground "well I wouldn't say so, I'm a big girl, and I come from a long line of strong and intelligent lions" she giggled

Haij looked up at the lioness, grinning. "Oh yeah," he said in sarcastic tone. "Ever strong and intelligent lion says that they're a 'big girl' or a 'big boy'." He rolled his eyes, and let out a small chuckle. "I gotta admit," he said in his regular tone. "Out of all the people I've met, I never thought somebody like you would get pass my stubbornness like it's nothing. Impressive, but not quite. And by the way.... Why are you running away from the Pride Lands anyway? Isn't that your home, Princess?"

Kiara looked at Haij she was shocked that he called her princess "how do you know who I am" she asked him with a look of confusion on her face, she then shurgged it off and playfully licked his muzzle and ran off as if for him to follow her.

Kovu sighed as Jasmine spoke. "Jasmine, I wish she would see her mistake as well. I don't want her to become like my mother or die like her. I know that Kiara has a good heart. She needs to know that hurting you won't make me love her," he stated.

The lion watched the Princess running off. He got up into a sitting position, grinning a little. 'Kiara, Kiara, Kiara,' he repeated in his thoughts. 'That's for me to know, and you to find out.' He gave out the same annoying giggle before running off, catching up to the lioness
