Animated animal movies?

Animated animal movies?

Postby Ophelia » October 5th, 2011, 3:00 pm

I thought you guys would be good to consult on this subject. I love movies like Bambi, TLK, Balto, Princess Mononoke and The Cat Returns, all animated movies that involve animals (Princess Mononoke probably not as much, but still). I really want to see more animated movies with animals in them, and though I've looked I'm finding it slightly difficult to find any good ones. :? I've heard of Felidae, and though I wanted to watch it, the mating session has definitely put me off. :yuck:

So, do you guys have any good suggestions? I'm quite desperate. I've seen a majority of the Disney films...I just really need to find some good ones!

Thank you, everyone. ^^

NOTE: So obviously I'll watch movies that have gore or language, that doesn't bother me, but I prefer...no mating sessions, haha. I'll also watch foreign films - I quite adore them as it is.

I highly recommend Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron , if you haven't seen it. It's amazing.

Ever heard of Balto? It's good if you want a simple yet entertaining story.

She mentioned Balto already in her list in her initial post.

Ah, my bad then. I tend to read throughout posts fast so I usually miss certain details. xD

I dunno, most of the animal movies I know are Disney's... I know of some more, but they're not animated. The only one I can think of right now is Ice Age.

I've seen most of these, and I think they're due for a rewatch! Might persuade my sister to watch Bambi with me today. ;)
