Danivu nodded slowly in thought as she spoke of Felix's seemingly insatiable hunger. "Luckily," he said softly, "I got to you first." He nuzzled her with a smirk and sighed. "Kaput's a good boy. I just wish he'd adjust his attitude, you know?" He shook his head and nuzzled her, his long black mane falling over her muzzle. He chuckled when he looked down at her, the laugh resonating deep in his large chest. "I agree," he said softly. "Being young again would be nice, no? I could actually run without hurting myself." He snickered and leaned closer to her, pressing his form against hers. "My love," he said, "How long has it been since we had more than a few hours to ourselves?"

Kuva opened her eyes and her head flicked to the entrance as she heard a rock being kicked. She jumped up, on the defensive instantly. She was in no mood for Felix to attempt what he had earlier. Her eyes widened in surprise as Kaput slowly picked his way into her den. She sat down instantly, her head cocked, then lay down sadly. "Yes, Kaput?" she asked softly, her eyes searching him. Was he spying on her? When Kaput didn't say anything and padded closer, she sighed. "What is it... are you here to pester me some more?" She slowly sat up as he approached her, and he finally opened his small mouth.
"I'm sorry," Kaput said softly. He finally reached her, and he sat next to her, his head resting on her side comfortingly. "I didn't realize something had gone wrong with King Felix while you were up there." His eyes gazed up at her, full of regret for asking what he had. "I saw how bad what I said hurt you, Kuva. I didn't wanna hurt you like that. I don't wanna see you hurt like that." He nuzzled her once, then backed off a little bit. "Sorry for.. y'know.. touching you." He turned his head away and was about to walk out when Kuva grabbed him up on a tight hug. Tears stained her face and muzzle, some of them happy, some of them sad. She nuzzled his small face and then set him down.
"Thank you, Kaput," she said softly. "You dont know what it means to me to know that someone actually cares that I'm hurt. The others act like they care, but.. I doubt they do. I'm just a pain to them..." She trailed off with a sigh. Kaput looked up to her, and Kuva laid down. Kaput jumped on her back and rested there, smiling. "I don't think you're a burden," he said softly. "I think you're just misunderstood." He jumped down and started to pad out. "I'll leave you to rest. If you need me, you know where I'll be. I'm gonna practice pouncing a little more. I gotta pass my dad!" With that being said, Kaput ran out of her den and jumped back down to his parents. Rather than pounce, however, he slowly padded into his den and curled up. What had he just done? He wasn't a sweet, innocent little lion. Why did he care like that for her? He shook his head and curled up tighter, trying to get rid of his thoughts, but they just came stronger. She was a big sister to him. He wanted to make sure she felt better, thats all. He sighed and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Damatu's purrs erupted loudly as she lay down infront of Felix. "My king. My dear Felix, I will bear your Heir without any complaint." She then turned her head, following him as he circled her. "If the throne belongs to me, that would make me.. queen." Her eyes widened in realization as her purrs stopped abruptly. She was too surprised to do anything but jump up. She licked his cheek repeatedly. "Yes!" she exclaimed. "I will be your queen!"

After some time had passed, Kuva lifted her head with a sigh. Alone wasn't a foreign feeling, but she found herself missing Guerra. She remembered hearing something about him patrolling, and she pushed herself slowly to her paws. Jumping out of her den, she ran out into the pridelands. A little ways out, she caught ahold of his strong scent. Even his smell mirrored his sheer strength. She sniffed a few times and lifted her head, searching for the source. Suddenly, she had it! There, near what was the eastern border of the pridelands. She darted off quickly, heading for the sweet scent.
Finally, she spotted him padding slowly along the border. Her eyes followed his every movement. The way his mane seemed to flow through the wind, and the way his strong muscles moved, hidden under his pelt, with every single motion he made. She couldn't help but let a purr of adoration slip from her muzzle. Quickly, she placed a paw over her muzzle and got closer to him. Finally, she got over her nervousness and padded up next to him, keeping his pace slowly. "Hey..." she said, trailing off. "I'm sorry for sneaking up on you like this." She sighed and looked closer at him. "Its just.. I cant stand to be alone, and your company always cheers me up. If you'd like me to go away, just tell me, and I'll run along... " She hoped he'd allow her to stay there with him. For some reason, she felt a lot safer around him.
