She rolled her eyes. "So, where are you headed?"

"Marina," Neryssa whispered. "You have to let her..."

"Do you need anything?" she asked.

"Good Time Pub. Yknow, if you want, I could watch Ginny for a hour or two, if you'd like to go to the Good Time's."

"Bed. "

Marina snapped her head towards Neryssa, "No I don't!"

"A new back."

"You know I'm not that dumb," she hissed.

"Alright, carino." She turned to the villagers that had brought the cannon. "Do an of you have a bed we could use?"

She smiled. "I would too. I got whipped too, you remember,"

"Well you could hire a nanny. " Thorne shrugged.

The villagers said yes.

Ginny smiled, "But you're stronger than I."

"I could, but I won't. But you could hire another... female?" Angelica asked hopefully.

They followed a man to his house, and he explained to his wife what had happened.

Angelica returned the smile, and gently ruffled her hair. "I'll go check where we're going."

"For you or Ginny?" Thorne joked. Hard to believe that they were joking after he threatend to poison the baby.

Ginny looked up at Angelica, "He wanted to cook me."

Ginny smiled, "Thank you."

"Oh, me of course," she joked, and got into a rowboat. "Goodbye,"

Angelica looked at her daughter and began to curse Thorne under her breath.

"Thorne?" she called, poking her head out of the cabin. "Where are we going?"

Thorne followed, "What exactly did you mean though, hire a female?"

"What did he mean by that?"

"Whats it to you?"

"Another female could be useful, nanny or not," she said, and began to row to shore.

"In many places, mermaid is considered... a delicacy. That is, a really delicious food that's hard to get. I've heard that the younger they are... the tastier. I'd rather not talk about it," she replied.

"It's to Ginny, actually,"

"Hire a useful one then. It'll come out of your personal pay." Thorne grunted.

Ginny looked down. "Thorne's not dead...is he? He'll be back.." Ginny was silent for a moment, "Have you ever eaten mermaid?"

The cook went to Thorne, "Sir, the ship is sinking and the mermaids escaped."
"A island, I don't remember the name but I remember its a British providance. We'll be raiding it. Maybe you can get her a new jacket." He replied.
