Jenna went to Balto. "Balto, is it wise to have Steele here?" she asked.

"Even though he has been nothing but a jerk to us he has the same rights as we. If he gets out of hand Sonic'll probably lock 'em up in a cage." Balto said before nuzzling Jenna, "Don't worry 'bout it."

Jenna shook her head. "I do worry about it. I'm afraid he'll try to kill you to get to me," she said.

"That's not gonna happen, Steeles a jerk but he would never do that with all these people around, nor would he even try I think he's afraid 'a me." Balto said.

Jenna looked down. "But what happens if he comes to me and you're not around?" she asked. Suddenly, a female voice was heard. "As Balto said, that's not going to happen," it said. Jenna turned to see a young, beautiful, gray-furred female wolf with white-streaked, raven-black hair standing there.

Balto turned towards the wolf, and smiled someone agreed with him. "Nothing will happen dear just as she said."

The wolf stepped forward. "My name is Lupe. The king has asked me to be your personal guard," she said.

"I'm Balto, which you happen to know already, and you probably know my darlin' Jenna here." He said. "I don't think I'd need the guardin' but Jenna could use some help since I have to look over everyone from Nome." Balto added.

Lupe looked at them. "I was specifically asked to help both of you. With everything that's going on, you'll need it," she said.

Balto sighed, "Look I don't need a body guard, thanks for the gesture but I'm fine, besides if you just watch Jenna she will likely stay safer. I don't need a guard." Balto replied stubbornly.
