Angelica grabbed the egg and put it in her pocket. "Nothing's happening,"

"I could. But not yet. Jack..."

"Why not wait?" Thorne challenged.

"Thorne, tell them to leave me alone," she hissed.

"Well it seems that you could just easily take Ginny now." Jack said.

Thorne rolled his eyes, "Deal with it, Angelica."

"Down at the bottom of the ocean? Jack, even I can't do that, unless..." Thorne rubbed his beard. "You know how to get a girl. Kiss this one, then go get the younger mermaid...s."

Angelica scrunched up her nose, and took the egg to the alley beside the pub. She put it in water, and waited. How was she supposed to...?

Jack held his hands up in defence, "Whoa, uh, you're forgetting Angelica." He didn't want to go against Angelica. Jack wouldn't admit it but he did fancy her. He had been alone for so long when they had met, as un-romantic and humorus as it was, she had moved him. Though Angelica ruined the love's lasting affect due to her compulsive lying,(Spewing "love" around like it was common) and Jack ruined it by breaking Angelica's heart.

The egg's shell was softening, a small part of the top was taking parts of it off..it would be safer to have the egg someone softer, like Angelica's bed. A small crack could be heard.

Angelica understood that the egg needed a nice soft place, so she took it and ran up to her room. She lay it softly on her bed, and waited. Again, her question shot through her heas.

"Am I? Then stop arguing, Jack, and take the mermaid down!"

Shortly after Angelica placed the egg on her bed, the child inside weakly pushed against the egg's shell, but had a hard time cracking it open.

Jack shook his head no, "I cannot."

Angelica saw this, and wasn't sure what to do. She stared at it, hoping that it could do it by itself.

"Jack Sparrow," Thorne said, irritated. He pulled out his knife and threw it at Jack's head.

It wasn't till the sun rose the egg had a hole in it! The front part of the egg hard a decent size hole now, but naturally the child couldn't crawl out itself. It seems mermaids as children were dependant on the parent. The baby cooed slightly, the morning light was dazzling. It seemed just right that the child first see this.

Jack ducked, however the knife caught his hat.
