The voice then spoke to both fawns, "You need not worry, your mother's well protected." after a long pause, there was no sound from either Karus or the other voice. The other fawn looked at the princess, "I know that this is not related at all, but we keep stumbling upon each other all the time. What's your name?" The princess looked at him with a slight smile, "Ophelia."

Suddenly where Membo was there was a voice, "Hey my little Membo get out here!"

The voice then talked to Karus, "Must you always assault others with words?" somehow he began to choke him, and when Membo came by all he could see was Karus squirming on the floor like a fish. "I'm not even gonna ask." he asked and just kept walking.

However it wasn't Karus. The deer got up and followed Membo. "Don't you remember me my litte Membo, Karus' son. I came to warn ya that your, I mean the doe that we kidnapped long ago she is held by my father." He coughed from his old age. "Yes my wonderful father gets immortality but I just die a lonely death." He then said, "Karus cannot be stopped Membo, not by me, not by you..."

Membo hoped that there was something that the son wasn't telling him, "Then by who?"

Karus' son said, "You hate Karus don't you? You fear him don't you? His actions make you sad right?"

Membo sighed, "I hate him, but I do not fear him. It is our pointless fear that he enjoys. The only sad thing in his regard is his being."

Karus' son said, "But don't you get it my little Membo? Anger, fear, and sadness do make him powerful. If you hate him he feeds off of it..."

Membo looked at him, "What am I supposed to do then, love him? That's a little impossible don't you think?"

Karus' son laughed, "I told you he cannot be stopped my little Membo..."
