[Private RP ~ Baya and Songo ~]

[Baya]

"Wait, whats going on Vitani?" Tuli called after her, wanting to come along and check out whats going on. Though before he could interject to come along, she already ran off. The things love could do to a lioness, Tuli sighed.

"Tanto, what happened?" Tuli asked with a frown. Ukame's eyes had a worried look to them the entire time. "I hope dad's ok..." She murmured, looking out to the distance where she saw her father and his mother meeting. He didn't seem too badly hurt.

"What's going on?" Tupa asked as she bounded outside the den, looking around wildly.

"No clue. Hope we'll find out..." Tuli replied.

"Lioness rogue attacked me for food. I knew her from the desert, and said it's my fault she has no mate." Baya murmured as his cheek was licked clean. He gave Vitani a gentle lick on her nose as thanks as they made their way up pride rock. "She was one of the few I left alive. I could've killed her, and ended any problems to come...but I didn't. I couldn't." Baya murmured as he looked down, whilst climbing up the steps to pride rock.

"Dad! Are you ok?!" Ukame asked as she quickly ran to her father's side. Her eyes widened at her father's injury.

"Dad, your face..." Ukame gasped.

"I'll be fine. It was nothing, just a rogue who saw some food and wanted to steal it." Baya murmured. "I managed to knock her out before she could do more damage, but I suggest doubling our border patrols just in case." Baya said as he looked to Kovu and Kiara who had just stepped out of the den as well along with a weaker Simba and Nala.

"What on earth..." Simba muttered, looking at the wound on Baya's face. Baya let the shank of gazelle fall from his back where he put it.

"We need to increase security is all." Baya said as he laid down on his side for a bit of a rest. He didn't lose too much blood, but the fight actually exhausted him. Was he getting old? No, he wasn't even halfway through a lion's regular life span!

"Dad, did you kill her?" Ukame asked curiously, wondering what her warrior of a father did.

"No. Killing a rogue is pointless." Baya murmured. Ukame looked a bit confused at her father's statement but decided not to question further. Instead she slowly made her way to the gazelle shank that was being feasted upon by a few lionesses. There wasn't much meat to it, but everyone would get some.

"I saw food...and I saw Baya. I figured I could kill him for what he did to me, and get us food we need...I'm sorry." Tama whispered as she staggered once more to stand.

"I'm sure we can manage still, if we explain ourselves..." Tama murmured looking to Chafuka for agreement. She was pretty roughed up after her fight with Sahau.

[Songo]

Nala's blue eyes looked over at Kiara as the old Queen took a step back next to her King, she watched her daughter address the Pride.

Kiara stood beside Kovu and spoke loudly, "According to Baya there is a lioness on our territory keep your eyes out...where there is one there are others." she said wearily looking to Kovu.

"Sarabi I dont want you going to far from Pride rock.." Kiara added as she stepped back towards her daughter.

"Awhh...mom come on..." Sarabi said with a scowl on her face. The lioness gave a growl of disapproval and walked inside her den in a huff, she laid down annoyed. Being the future Queen wasn't that fun, she had all these responsibilities and everyone constantly babied her. Sarabi rested her head down on her paws and listened closely to the chatter outside the den.

Tanto quickly ran to his dad and mom and he looked up at his father's bleeding face, "Does it hurt dad?" he asked softly. He tried not to interupt the talking adults and he put his two small brown paws on Baya's right paw. "Dad....Where is the lioness now?" he asked softly.

Vitani quickly padded to the edge of Pride rock and her blue eyes squinted as she gazed off in the distance, "It seems we have some company..." she said in a low tone. She quickly botled to the other side of Pride rock as the new lionesses approached with speed, they looked battered and beat. Vitani's eyes followed over them trying to figure out which one attacked Baya, so she could make a mental note for later.

A low growl left Vitani's muzzle as she eyed the lionesses, "Trespassing...?" she said to the one who seemed to be in the lead of the three.

"I'm sorry...Id like to speak with your King and Queen. I realize one of my lionesses got hungry and attacked a lion of yours. We mean no harm...my pride and I left the desert in search of a home. We heard the Pride lands was a prosperous place.." she said in a soft syrupy tone to Vitani.

Vitani's blue eyes flickered back at Baya, "What are your names?" she asked before stepping back as Kovu and Kiara stepped forward.



"I'm Songo and this is Tama and Chafuka..we come in peace.." Songo said softly trying to show her dirty pelt. The lioness looked back at Tama and Chafuka and nodded for them to put down their guard.

Chafuka looked up at the eyes watching her and she looked to Tama, "Did you see that lioness that addressed us...she is no Pride lander..I've seen her before." she said in a low tone. As soon as Songo gave her a look Chafuka reclined back and waited to be addressed by Kovu and Kiara.

[Baya]

Baya looked down to his concerned son and placed a paw reassuringly on his head. "One cut isn't enough to take me down. It's nothing." Baya said with a nod. "Now get in the den...both you and Ukame." Baya ordered.

"But dad I wanna see -"

"Now Ukame..." Baya said, giving his daughter a warning glare. He wasn't about to stand here and argue with his cubs when the intruders were standing right there in front of his mate. There was no telling what would happen. Ukame sighed as she trotted into the den after her brother.

Tupa's eyes narrowed as she looked at Tama from slightly afar. "Baya...is that the lioness that...?"

Baya nodded in response simply, and began to make his way to bottom of pride rock to back up his mate. Tupa looked to Tuli. "If something happens, I want you to run down as fast as you can and help. Until then, stay up here..." Tupa whispered to her son. Tuli snorted. "If Baya doesn't kill all three of them first you mean..." Tuli murmured.

"What is your business here?" Kovu asked the three lionesses that stood below the tip of pride rock. There was no way he'd grace them with a chance to chop him up. Baya at this point was near Vitani. Tama looked from Baya to Vitani and made the connection. This was his mate! Figures she'd be so rough looking and butch.

"The king asked you a question." Baya warned, his eyes zooming over the three lionesses.

"I think Songo already answered if your handsome king wasn't listening. We come looking for a pride. One that will accept us poor, and hungry rogues..." Tama said with a bit of a sigh.

Kovu looked to Kiara, wondering what the best judgement would be. If he just turned them away because they were rogues, that would be hypocritical of him. If he did not, his pride's safety might be at danger. "Simba. What should I do?" Kovu whispered, looking confused.

"Let them stay, but keep an eye on them...if anything goes wrong, we'll know its them." Simba murmured. "Though that is only my advice. If you think its best to act in another way, go right ahead." Simba explained.

"No, I'm sure that's a better option then turning them away...they might just stay and cause trouble." Kovu whispered as he turned his head back to the three lionesses below.

"I'll with hold my judgement until you've stayed with us for awhile. If you cause any trouble, you will be banished. If you show me that you are a good addition to the pride, you may stay." Kovu said in a bold manner.

"Step back." Baya whispered to Vitani, out of concern. He knew she could very well defend herself, but his instinct would not allow her to be injured in the front line.

"You heard the king. You sleep outside, and you eat whatever is left of a hunt." Baya growled to Songo, Chafuka and Tama.

"Aw, still sore about our little brawl? It's nature Baya, I'm sure you've experienced enough battles to realize what nature can do to a lioness..." Tama said with a grin. Baya turned away slowly.

"Vitani, come with me." Baya murmured as he led his mate up pride rock. As they went up, Baya looked back to his mate. "Don't leave any of the cubs alone with them, and don't hang around them either. I have a bad feeling about Tama and the other one. They don't sit right in my mind..." Baya murmured, hating to boss around his mate. Though he cared deeply for her, hence why he was concerned for her safety.

[Songo]

Kiara stood beside Kovu as the lionesses chattered below Pride rock and she turned to go check on Sarabi, her brown eyes looked to Baya. "Double security and watch them..for now.." she said softly.

Kiara padded into the den and her warm brown eyes gazed at her daughter, "Don't be upset Sarabi, its for your own best interest. I don't want you running around with those new rogues either." Kiara added sternly before laying down to relax.

"Fine." Sarabi snorted before standing to her paws and stepping outside the den.

"Dont go far Sarabi.." Kiara's voice rung out from inside the den.

Sarabi's ears fell back tightly and she stepped beside Tuli who was watching the rogues, "Boy do they look rough.." she muttered. Sarabi felt something touch her back and she noticed Ukame and Tanto poking their heads out from behind her back, only to be caught by Baya and Vitani. She let a small chuckle escape as they got scolded but her attention turned back to Tuli as everyone left into their dens.

Tanto gave a grumble as his mother and father made him and his sister go into the den for a nap. He curled up on the ground and watched his parents talk outside of the den, his mom seemed rather upset. "What's going on...I wonder if dad knows those rogues.." he whispered to his sister softly.

After Vitani was sure her cubs were safely in their den her blue eyes turned to look at Baya, "Who are they Baya...where do you know them from? I know one of them...the leader.." she said a hint of weary in her voice. She knew the Pride was made up of outlanders and rogues but these three lionesses didn't seem to friendly, Vitani's blue eyes watched them disappear towards the watering hole.

"I will stay away from them, aslong as you promise me you'll stay away from them too." she whispered in his ear softly. She leaned her muzzle into his face and gave his wounds a loving lick, "I don't want to loose you..." she added.

"I'd rip their throats out before I let any of them close to our family." she whispered her blue eyes gazing up at his green ones. Giving her bang a flick she eyed how low the sun was getting and she frowned, "The day with our little ones was cut short. But Baya you need to spend some time with Ukame, teach her how to do something only you know. She wonders to much if you love her...shes just like me and you. Wild and rebellious... and always ready to fight. But she can be tamed all she needs is her daddy." she said teasing softly.

Vitani gave another smile and nuzzled her face into Baya's mane, "You know I did grab me the demon of the desert...he was tamed. I dont think a little cub should be too much harder." she chuckled reclining to her hinds by his side.

Songo's green eyes flashed at Tama and Chafuka, "We will be under a great deal of surveillance....be cautious and also be sweet. Lets go wash up in the watering hole, I smell of dead filth." Songo snapped slowly padding towards the water area.

After giving herself a bath, she looked around to make sure they were alone. "Tama you will poke around but do it slowly. Dont be so pushy...and Chafuka you try and befriend the younger cubs. They are naturally nosey...use that to your advantage. I will do the rest...now lets relax and get some rest." she said laying down under a cool tree.

The grass was much softer then the dirt in the Outlands and Songo lifted her eyes to gaze at the stars, she missed home already. But she would do anything to prove to Mrithi her loyalty, even sacrificing her own life.


Chafuka washed off her dirty body and revealed golden yellow fur, the young lioness licked her white paws clean. With a good cleaning Chafuka could've passed as a Pride lander if her body wasn't so muscular and lean. The Pridelander lionesses were chubby and well fed, they didn't have to hunt far so they were slow. But Chafuka's speed kept her lean and always ready to attack. Her pale blue eyes looked to Songo, "I hope this works..." she muttered before exhaustingly closing her eyes to sleep.

[Baya]

"Ah, our job never finishes..." Kovu murmured from where he laid down in the den. "Raising a cub...keeping a grip on the kingdom. It's hard work." Kovu pointed out as he looked to the top of the den.

"Being king isn't a test of your strength, but your will. If you are weak in the mind, you'll crack under the pressure." Simba pointed out as he too sat near Kovu, Nala being not too far from him.

"She was upset because I didn't let her come, hm?" Baya asked as he winced slightly at having his wound cleaned once more. He sighed as he looked to the setting sun himself. "I love her more than she knows. She reminds me of her mother with every word and every move, how can I not love her?" Baya asked, looking down. "I cannot take her and Tanto at the same time to any hunting lessons...think about it. If she came out with me today, she very well might've died. Tanto is obedient, so he ran as soon as I told him to. If Ukame was there too..." Baya sighed, not knowing how to word it exactly.

"I worry for her everyday." Baya finally said, as he looked admiringly to Vitani. "Then again, she has a great mother to guide her." Baya murmured quietly about to lick Vitani's cheek when he heard something behind them.

"Kissssss....kissssssssssss...." A voice whispered from behind them. Baya pawed a rock and smacked the owner of the voice.

"Awh! No fair!" Tuli groaned as he went back into the den.

"Nosy brat..." Baya said with a chuckle. "Just like his mother." Baya added as he gave Vitani another nuzzle.

Tuli rubbed his head as he plopped down next to Tanto and Ukame. "So, what were they talkin' about?" Ukame asked, giggling at Tuli rubbing his head.

"Your dad is a good shot..." Tuli muttered as he stopped rubbing his head. "Well, they were getting into that really lovey dovey stuff. Want me to give you the details?" Tuli said with a chuckle.

"No no! I don't need to hear that stuff!" Ukame said with a look of disgust on her face. That's one thing any infant didn't need to hear between their parents.

"Well Ukame, your dad's just worried about you. Says he left you back because he was afraid you might get hurt during the hunting practice...and that you remind him of your mum." Tuli said with a warm smile. Ukame's ears' flattened slightly, out of embarrassment. That made good sense...and it made Ukame feel bad for getting upset earlier about it.

"Does that mean I'm gonna be strong like my mum then?" Ukame asked with a sly grin.

"Hey, if I could be a guard then you could be strong. Anything can happen, as long as you have the will." Tuli said smirking at his younger cousin.

"Alright. I think it's time for the cubs to sleep." Tupa chimed in as she nuzzled her son before laying down on her side and pulling Ukame near to her.

"Shouldn't Vitani be doing that?" Tuli asked with a look of confusion.

"Let her have a moment with Baya. Those two have been so busy they've had no alone time for awhile..." Tupa murmured as she pulled Tanto into her embrace as well. "Besides, I'm technically their sister you know..." Tupa said with a grin.

"Eh. Well...Baya raised you, so I suppose..." Tuli said scratching his head and laying down near his mother.

Tama looked to Chafuka and smirked. "Oh Chafuka? Be sweet? I'd love to see that." Tama teased as she washed herself up as well. That scrap with Baya really got her dirty.

"So should I wait a bit before seducing the king?" Tama asked, with a questioning look to Songo.

[Songo]

Kiara grinned and cuddled up next to Kovu's side, "Sarabi, shes getting bigger everyday. Oh Kovu, shes just like me when I was young." she added with a exhausting sigh. She noticed her mother's nod in agreement and Kiara gave a half smile.

"You're doing a fabolous job so far Kovu.." Kiara whispered giving him a loving nuzzle. She rested her head on her paws and closed her brown eyes, her ears twitched as she listened to their conversation.

Nala laid down in her corner as Simba finished talking with Kovu, "You know Kovu, some outlanders do want second starts. Give the new lionesses a chance...." Nala chimed in with her syrupy tone. Her crystal blue eyes gazed at Simba, "Becoming a mighty King takes time and also takes a few mistakes, you will understand soon enough."


"Look whos returned to us..." Nala said with a small chuckle as Sarabi huffed her way into the den.


Rolling her hazel eyes Sarabi looked to Nala, "Oh grandma....don't get mom started." she muttered as she laid down by her parents in the den.

Tanto chuckled at Tuli and Tupa and he snuggled up next to his bigger sister, "Ukame is just like mom, stubborn." he teased before closing his blue eyes. He listened to the chatter softly before heading off into dreamland, he kept replaying the lioness and his father fighting.

Vitani gave a giggle as Baya gave her a lick in return and her blue eyes gazed at him, "She loves her daddy and I tried to explain to her how much you mean to her. I know you only look in her best interest...she doesn't understand that yet." she whispered giving his neck a nuzzle.

A flicker of excitement passed through her electric blue eyes and she motioned for Baya to follow, "Keep up.." she teased and bounded off into the Pride lands. The stars lit her way as she ran through the tall green grass and collapsed when she couldn't run any further. She looked for Baya and quickly hid her body in the tall grass, waiting to pounce on him. She waited patiently as she watched for her handsome mate to pass by.

Songo grabbed Tama's tail and yanked her trap shut, "Listen...you will know when the time is right Tama. No more talk of this..we are now in the enemy's land." she said her ears twitching slightly at the sounds around them. "Chafuka will have to be believable and you will have to seem not as willing...." she added side glancing. "We were chosen by Mrithi to get the jobs done and we will not let him down."

Songo let go of Tama's tail and rested in the cool grass, " Be patient my dears...our opportunity will arise." she said stretching out.


Chafuka nodded, "Tama, I am more believable then you. Trust me on that! I will have these cubs eating out of my paws in no time." she chuckled. Chafuka's ears twitched as she stepped into the bushes a bit, she moved them out of the way and noticed Vitani low and prowling. "Tama...look...its Baya's mate." she whispered pointing.

[Baya]

"Well, she is your daughter after all." Kovu pointed out to Kiara, as she commented on how Sarabi looked and acted like her. "She's restless. She wants something other than what she is born into..." Kovu murmured, and as if on cue his daughter walked into the den. He gave Kiara a loving nuzzle before he gave one to Sarabi as well.

Baya smirked as he ran after Vitani, his ears flexed back. His eyes narrowed as he got into a bit of a grassy plain, where Vitani wasn't exactly in sight. Baya's emerald eyes took in his surroundings and he smirked. "You and your antics. I'm waiting Vitani..." Baya purred as he looked around for his mate.


[Sorreh ]

[Songo]

Kiara gave a small chuckle and smiled, "Let us all get some sleep. We need our energy because tomorrow is a new day." she whispered softly winking at Kovu.

As if on cue Baya slowed down to a stop allowing Vitani to get very close before her pounce, she let out a giggle and launched herself at Baya. When she made contact and tacked Baya into the soft grass she pinned him to the ground, her electric blue eyes highlighting in the starlight, "Got ya.." she teased softly.

Rubbing her head off Baya's she relaxed herself on his large chest and gazed at him, " They are growing so fast Baya...we will have to find Ukame a suitor in no time." she said with a eyebrow raise. She gave her mate's cheek another lick and nuzzled her face in his chest fur, "I love you so much." she added.

Songo peeked out and nodded for Tama and Chafuka to follow her, "Well isn't that sweet. The Demon of the desert is in love with a Pride lander.." she said with a slight smirk. Her tail flickered by her side as she reclined to her hinds and watched Vitani and Baya quickly hop to their paws, "No no..don't get up on my account. We were just cleaning ourselves up.."

Chafuka chuckled, "Shes no Pride lander...look at her. She looks like an Outlander as well...." she snickered. But Chafuka paused a moment and let a smile, "At least it goes to show that we all can get a second chance. Even if one was a cold-blooded killer." she chimed in.

Songo gave a nod, "Now you have cubs...its amazing how even the killers get second chances.."

[Baya]

Baya smirked as he and his loving mate nuzzled once again. "Isn't it too soon to be talking about a suitor? After all...no male is going to pass my judgement." Baya pointed out. He only wanted the best for his little girl, and that included her mate. Him and Vitani were getting more intimate before he heard voices from nearby. Him and Vitani quickly got onto their paws as they heard Chafuka, Songo and Tama.

"It really confuses me how you'd reject me and go off and mate with something like that." Tama murmured with a look of confusion. "After all, you were the pinnacle of strength in the desert. What happened Baya?" Tama asked.

Baya snorted as he tilted his head. "There's more to her than meets your eye. Figures you wouldn't understand pride or decency." Baya muttered, glaring at Tama. He then looked to Chafuka.

"She was an outlander, and as was I. You should choose your next words wisely as I am not loyal to Kovu, but Vitani..." Baya warned.

[Songo]

Vitani gave a small chuckle as she stepped beside Baya, "Something like this? Sweetie, obviously you cant see the shape your in? It looks as though someone tossed you down a rocky hill and left you for the vultures." she snapped right back at Tama. Vitani's electric blue eyes thinned narrowly at the lionesses, "Don't peg me as a Pride lander, I was an outcast and killer as much as you three."

Songo gave a chuckle at Vitani's comment, "It seems Baya got himself a fire cracker. Yet, she reminds me of someone I knew...I cant put my paw on it." Songo hissed circling Vitani and Baya.

Taking a seat right infront of Vitani she rested her paw on her chin as she glanced at this lioness, "Who..do you remind me of...its that voice...that attitude." she muttered to herself. "Zira....Thats it!" she snickered. "Of course...your her only daughter..."


Chafuka sat calmly beside Songo, "So much for loyalty to the King Baya, that is a shame." she said with a small smirk. Chafuka knew Tama's blood was boiling from Vitani's comment. "You may look like an Outlander Vitani, but you prance around like a Pride lander. I wouldn't forget where you came from...and you Baya, you will always have the past following you." she said softly before heading back over to the tree to catch some sleep.
