"Flicks are going to be the least of your worries." Tupa said with a mischievous grin on her face as she followed behind Zira, Vitani and Nuka all in line. Tupa looked to Baya for a moment as they walked.
"You seem to really enjoy fighting her. Is that why you agreed?" Tupa asked her mentor. Her head was tilted and facing him in a questioning fashion. Baya smirked as he looked to Tupa.
"Mind your business girl. Don't forget your place." Baya warned, his eyes giving off a warning that would scare beelzebub himself. Tupa pursed her mouth shut, but stuck her tongue out at Baya. Baya stepped on her tail, making her fall to the ground as the group walked ahead of her.
"Real mature!" Tupa snarled as she stood and trotted after them as well. She let out a huff and walked so that she was alongside Nuka.
"So, what is this war about and with whom are we expected to fight?" Tupa asked quietly, her ears flexed back in irritation at what Baya did.
When they got to the den, many lionesses watched as Baya and Tupa walked into the dimly lit termite mound. They did not look amused at the addition to the pride.
"Zira, we have little food as it is, and you bring more members into the pride?" One of the lionesses snarled.
"Silence! The food we give to them will yield far better results than you!" Zira snarled in response, looking to Baya and Tupa once more.
"If you two cause any trouble, know that you will be killed without warning. I need you for battle, not for more complications." Zira pointed out.
"Very well." Baya murmured as he found himself a secluded spot in the termite den and let himself fall on his side. He was so exhausted from the traveling and the fighting, but he wouldn't ever say it out loud. His pride was his fortress, after all.
Tupa sighed as she looked to Vitani for a moment as Zira took Nuka outside to speak with him. "You know, if there's an solace to this, Baya has probably taken a sort of liking to you. He usually kills without dragging fights on for too long, and the fact that he just wants to fight with no end...well you seem to challenge him." Tupa muttered. "Best you know it at least, so it doesn't come off as something else." Tupa murmured as she laid down near Baya, and placed her head down on her paws.
