The buck's mate was unable to say a word. The doe said, "No, I am not. Stay away from that fawn."

The father again glared at his mate and whispered, "Say something now or I make the fawn watch me take advantage of you when we get home..." He then looked back at the doe, "Ma'am you know parents do have the rights here."

The doe frowned, "Not if they beat their fawn up all the time."

The father said, "Ma'am you are confused. He is the bad one not me. He beats me up."

The doe said, "Then you wouldn't mind if he stayed with me then, would you?"

The father said, "Actually I do mind. He needs a father's love."

The doe said, "Of course. Now I can tell that everything you said is a lie. I'm sorry but he's staying with me."

THe father then got defensive, "Now listen here you self-righteous hypocrite!..." He puased and said, "You don't know what you are speaking of!" He walked off and said, "Let's see who the Great Prince shall support..."

The doe huffed. If the fawn wanted to go back with his father he would have done that. The doe looked at the fawn with a smile, "Do you want me to show you the place where you'll be staying from now on?"

Suddenly the father appeared before the Great Prince again. "Great Prince a doe refuses for me to see my son. Perhaps you can remedy this situation hmm?" The fawn only nodded and said, "My father's not a bad buck ma'am..."
