Balto sighed, "I dunno, it could be anything. Maybe you're apprehensive about the new racing season?"

Hammy sighed. "I don't know. I haven't really thought about him since the day he died," he said.

Hammy looked around. "He was saying something about me losing someone special to me. I don't know if he meant my musher, you and Grandma or Lilly," he said.

Balto chuckled, "Steele is dead Hammy. You don't have to worry."

Hammy curled back up. "I'm going to have to be more careful this season," he said.

Balto sighed, "Don't let nightmares get a hold of you, trust me."

Hammy looked up. "Did anything like this ever happen to you?" he asked.
