"Who cares about what he says?" she asked, waiting for her son's honest opinion that might explain why he was asking all of those questions.

Her son then asked, "Who is he Mother? Who is this Karus?"

The doe shook her head, "I don't know."

The fawn nodded his head. Suddenly his father's voice entered his mother's mind. "You needn't worry about our son..."

The doe was slightly confused, considering that her mate never talked to her from the dead before. "Who's that?"

The voice said, "You know who I am..."
