Once Chaka was gone, Simba turned away. "Everyone, leave Nala and I for awhile. We need to mourn Chaka's departure," he said.

Folle smiled wide, then nuzzled him back. "Are you happy we are expecting? No one else seems to be." Gazing into his purple eyes, almost getting lost in them once again. She continued walking, following Chaka with a smile on her face.

Nala watched as Folle followed Chaka out of the den and her blue eyes cried softly, she looked over at Simba shaking her head. " Simba....I thought we raised him better then this. He knows the rules, they are there for a reason." she whispered as they walked to the edge of Pride rock. The night was slowly turning the sky black and she watched them make their journey. "May the Great Kings watch over him closely...let us hope. They stay safe.." she whispered. She put her face in Simba's red mane and sobbed quietly, no mother should ever have to force her cub to leave his home.


Mheetu shook his head as the stars appeared and he saw the shadows of Chaka and Folle pass, "Come on lets take the girls to bed, then we can speak more." he said giving her a reassuring nuzzle. Mheetu gently lifted Kamili onto his back and then lifted Bianca onto Vitani's before grabbing Kamili by the scruff. As they made their way up to the den his green eyes flickered over Simba consoling his sister and he let out a small sigh.

Mheetu laid to his belly and let Saffy slid down his back onto the ground, he set Kamili down softly. Giving them each a lick and a nuzzle he nestled them between himself and Vitani before lifting his head to give his mate a lick of her own. "All three of you need your sleep tomorrow..Ruby and Kopa will be watching you." he said with a slight smirk. They didn't know it yet, but he had a idea to spend some quality time with Vitani.

Saffy giggled as she slid down her fathers back and she nestled next to Kamili, "Night love yous.." she whispered before closing her green eyes quietly.

Ruby sat quietly outside her den with Kopa by her side as they watched Chaka and Folle disappear into the darkness of the night, she glanced up at Kopa's mother and father. "They are hurt...why would Chaka do such a thing Kopa?" she whispered curiously. She nuzzled Kopa's mane and her amber eyes flickered as she gazed at him, she knew he was upset.

Simba lifted a paw and held Nala close as she wept. Kopa looked at Ruby. "I don't know, Ruby," he said, trying to hold back a tear.

"Well, perhaps we should head back to Pride Rock. I'm getting..." he yawned, "...sleepy."

Bianca nodded, and snuggled next to her father.

Vitani laid beside Mheetu and smiled when the cubs started falling asleep. "Mheetu, look at them! They're adorable!" Leaning her head on his as their cubs moved slightly in their slumber. Her mind wandered to Chaka and Folle. "Is Folle really.. pregnant?" Tilting her head slightly, whispering so she wouldn't wake

Kiara nodded, and yawned after him. "As am I." Nuzzling his dark cheek, leaping up and walking towards Priderock. She turned to Kovu who was still on the ground. "You comin'?" Winking, then walking slower so he could catch up.

Kovu slowly got up, and lumbered groggily to where Kiara stood. "Yeah, yeah."

Simba looked around. "Where did I go wrong with him?" he said aloud.

Nala's head leaned back as she looked up at her King and she frowned, "We did the best we could...Chaka...I just dont know. My babys gone.." she said between sobs. The Queen tried to wipe the tears from her eyes and she looked to Simba, "I know your father is watching over him..." she said softly gazing at the night sky.


Mheetu leaned his own head on Vitani's and chuckled as his little cubs slept soundly, "Its the quietest they've been all day.." he teased giving Vitani a nuzzle. When the subject changed he nodded his head, "Rafiki told them..she was expecting soon." he said in a weary tone. " Nala and Simba had to ask their son to leave Pride rock...Chaka's lucky thats all they did." he said in a soft tone looking into Vitani's blue eyes.

Mheetu sighed, "I have a feeling we will be seeing this cub when its born though.....I just dont know what would make him disobey the laws and his parents." he said softly. But the only word that came to his mind was,"Folle..."

Ruby licked the tear from Kopa's eye and nuzzled him slightly, "Chaka knew the rules Kopa, he broke them without considering how anyone else would react." she stated softly. "He made his own decision when he choose Folle over your family and the rules that have been going on for generations.." she added.

Vitani frowned, "Maybe it was him? I've had conversations with Folle, she's nice but schizophrenic. I'm not sure." Dropping her head and shaking it back and forth in disappointment. "Remember, he always looks at Kopa with disgust. Same with Simba at times." Looking up to Mheetu, worried for Chaka. "I want to see the cub, he would be adorable." Trailing off, looking at her sleeping offspring. Tilting her head and having a dreamy look on her eyes.

Kiara came up Priderock and saw her mirror-image mother crying her eyes out. "Mother?" Running over and nuzzling her pale cheek. "What's wrong? Is everyone and everything okay?" Hyperventilating, wondering what happened. Something big obviously did. Her mother doesn't cry for the fun of it.
