Balto sad sadly before the minister ended. He then went to Rosy and nuzzle her side gently to comfort her.

Eventually, the service was over and everyone headed home. As they walked, Steele suddenly appeared. "Hello," he said, turning his fearsome gaze on Rosy. It was as if he wanted to bite her.

Balto quickly growled at Steele ready to attack him if Steele tried anything. "Why don't you just leave." Balto ordered. "Rosy this way." Balto said guiding Rosy the opposite way of Steele.

Steele moved with them. "You know, Balto, all of this could be avoided if you would give Jenna to me and leave and never come back," he said.

"Why don't you leave and never come back!" Balto snarled before making Rosy move faster he looked at Jenna and gestured with his eyes for her to bring Rosy home.

Jenna did as instructed and took Rosy home. Sonic and Sally followed. Steele growled. "Jenna should have been mine, Balto. You never deserved her," he said.

"She never liked you Steele." Balto argued. "She chose me, now get over it and find someone else." Balto added before starting to turn around and just walk around the town so Steele, if he followed him would not get near Jenna, or Rosy.

Steele snarled. "I'll be seeing you soon, Balto," he said as he left.

Balto snickered before taking a shortcut to Jenna's house.

At the house, Jenna, Sonic and Sally were standing guard over Jenna. "Is everything all right, Balto?" Jenna asked. Sonic shook his head. "No. Dark times are upon us," he said.
