Jempa smiled. "Because they just weren't fast enough," he said.

Melony giggled, "You're funny." she looked around for a spot where they would be able to watch some view. The snowflakes that were slowly falling will probably make any view look beautiful.

Finally, Jempa noticed a small hill nearby. "There we go," he said and started heading in that direction.

Melony smiled. That hill was a perfect spot. She followed Jempa without protesting.

Upon arrival, Jempa took his place and waited for Melony.

Melony smiled and sat down next to Jempa, before looking at the mountain in the horizons. "The view's amazing..."

Jempa was busy looking around. "I love the view, but it's not as beautiful as you," he said.

Melony giggled, "Thank you."

Jempa sighed. "I wonder what the future holds for us now," he said. Just then, an alarm call went out, breaking the silence of the town. A messenger ran into Nome, saying that a particularly aggressive and notorious rogue Polar bear had been sighted in the area nearby.
