[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Nala looked at Simba and opened her muzzle to give a small protest but she decided to let Kiara talk. If Simba was okay with Kiara's decision then she was too. Nala just smiled slightly and awaited the decision from her daughter.


Mheetu licked Vitani's cheek and gave a nod on his own as he watched each of his daughters do their own thing. He frowned a bit hoping they learned to work together and not be so distant from one another. Mheetu leaned in and rested his head on Vitani's paws, he sighed. "They are going to fast..."


Saffy ran a few circled around Kamili and joined her sisters side as they ran to their parents. She rubbed her tummy and gave a few more soft mews for food. "Please.." she said with a small smile.


Ruby nodded and looked over at Kopa, "Well aslong as they get Rafiki and he says your alright." she said in protest to leaving the den. "Did you eat some bad antelope?" she wondered.

Simba continued to wait for a response from Kiara. "Come on, Kiara. I won't be angry," he said. Kopa looked at Ruby. "Ruby, I need to talk to you. You see, I've been thinking a lot about this, and now I'm sure of what I want. Will you be my mate and queen?" he asked.

Vitani sighed, "I know, it felt like 3 weeks went by in 3 seconds!" Gazing at the beautiful cubs of theirs, then to him. "Saffy, Bianca and Kamili are all beautiful, just look at them! I mean-they are YOUR daughters, handsome." Winking and licking his face.

Kiara sighed, then looked down. Knowing her parents were mad about her leading Anakin on, little did she know; Kovu was doing the same thing, but his love showed sometimes. "I do love Kovu." Saying under her breath, with a light smirk.

Folle sighed, "Thank you Chaka." Licking his cheek, then turning to Ruby. "I'm not sure, probably did though." Clenching in pain and grabbing her lower stomach again. "Whatever it is, it hurts A LOT!" Screaming in pain again, clawing her stomach taking out small clumps of fur.

Kamili looked up at her father with puppy-dog eyes, "Foooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!" She wailed, starting to stomp her front paws. Her stomach growled, then she did.

Simba nodded. "Then just say the word, Kiara. Kovu will be your mate," he stated.

Kiara smiled, and looked up. "Then he will be my mate." Turning and nuzzling Kovu.

Kovu nuzzled her back. "I can't wait!" he turned to Simba. "Is there an appropriate date for the wedding?"

Simba nodded. "It will be when you have a full mane," he said.

Nala gave a small nod in agreement and looked at Simba and then Kiara, she smiled. Gently she rubbed her head off Kiara's and spoke, "If this will make you happy and your father gave his blessing then you have mine." she finished stepping back beside Simba. It was only a few seconds before she noticed Rafiki making his way towards Folle's den, she gave Simba a small nudge to look.


Ruby's amber eyes lit up with excitement as Kopa asked her to be his mate and Queen! "Yes, id love to be!" she answered quickly giving him a long loving nuzzle. She couldn't believe it, Queen of the Pride lands one day that was a very big responsibility. She licked Kopa's cheek and smiled widely, "Your mother and father should be very excited." she said with Glee.


Mheetu chuckled at Vitani's comment and he licked her cheek in return and gave her a small loving nuzzle. His green eyes fell on Kamili and Saffy and then Bianca, "Well it seems we need to feed my favorite ladys.." he said with a smirk. "Well mom if you leave the cubs with me, can you catch us some antelope? That sounds like a good dinner. What do you think girls?" he asked leaning down to give Kamili, Saffy and Bianca a nuzzle of their own.

Kopa rubbed heads with the love of his life. "Thank you, Ruby. I assure you that this is something that you will never regret. Come on, let's go tell my parents," he said. Simba looked and saw Rafiki. "I wonder what's going on," he said to Nala.

Nala motioned for Simba to follow her as she made her way towards the dens hopping from ledge to ledge, the Queen slowly stepped in. "Kopa, Ruby good morning dear is everything ok?" she asked softly before turning to Chaka and Folle. She noticed the while lioness was holding her belly and fear flickered in her blue eyes. She looked back at Simba and then back at Chaka and Folle, "Chaka...what is going on here?" she said in a harder tone looking at Folle.

Ruby smiled widely and nodded to the Queen and at the sight of Simba too she spoke up, "Kopa has asked me to be his mate and future Queen! It is a great honor being accepted into your family." she said bowing her head to Simba.
