"Hey." Balto said greeting his good friend. "I'm gonna stay at Jenna's tonight, that alright?" He asked wanting to make sure Boris was okay with it. "Oh and Rosy's father passed away," Balto started as his ears flattened to his head and his tail went lower under his legs, "He died in a plane crash." Balto added softly.

Boris turned. "Balto, let me tell you something. Jenna is your mate. You should stay with her more often," he told him.

"Okay." Balto replied, "And why don't you find your self a nice mate." Balto said wanting to distract Boris from talking to him about hid relationship.

Boris laughed. "I am too old, Balto. Now, go to your beloved," he said.

"Yeah yeah." Balto replied, he gave Boris a small hug before running back towards the town.

Boris hugged back and watched Balto leave. Meanwhile, Sonic and Sally were talking with Jenna, waiting for Balto.

"Hey guys." Balto said after jumping straight through a window in the shed.

Sonic went over to greet his new friend. "Welcome back," he said. He thought about everything. "This husky form is really growing on me," he said.

"It's pretty great huh." Balto said Bedford going over to Jenna and nuzzling her.

Sonic nodded. "Originally, my mother was the only one who could shapeshift like this. She could turn into a lioness. However, a powerful associate of my parents empowered Sally, my brother Manic, his wife Mina and I to do this in order to better survive the coming battles," he said.
