Jempa looked at her. "Well, I wonder how this is going to turn out," he said.

Melony sighed, "Don't care really. As long as Steele is done for."

Jempa nuzzled her. "I'm here for you, no matter what happens," he said.

Melony blushed and her tail wagged as she returned Jempa's nuzzle.

Meanwhile, time passed as Hammy ran. Finally, it was time. He went and found Steele and issued his challenge. "This race will be the end of you," he said as he accepted. The two dogs then began running towards the cliff. Hammy waited to see his friends.

Melony and the others were meanwhile waiting for Hammy by the cliff.

Hammy's youth proved to be the deciding factor, as he was constantly getting ahead of Steele. Finally, the cliff was in sight and Hammy could see his friends. "There he comes!" Jempa said.
