They finally finished rolling the logs back, and Delano collapsed on the ground, panting heavily. By now, he didn't know what part of him did not hurt, only that every single muscle was on fire and pain. He knew that soon they will start doing something else, so he better get the most rest he can.

Muroki let out a long sigh and also collapsed down. He coulddn't remember himself ever making such an effort in his life.

The trainer looked at the trainees. All of them were resting, and all looked exhausted. He didn't want to bring them to the breaking point, but he had to do that. There was no room for the weak, and only those determined to make it through will. "Alright, everyone, up!" He shouted, hiding his uncertainty. But as far as he was concerned, he was amazed that they made it this far. "Time to run!"

Muroki groaned, forcing himself to his feet. "Where to this time?" he asked, breathing heavily between words.

Delano didn't answer. He didn't want to. He got up without a word and started running after the others with Muroki. As they did, he hoped that what the trainer said about it getting easier was true. Because if it wasn't, there would be trouble.

Muroki would normally wonder how long they had to go before the next stop, but he didn't have the strength even for that. He just kept running without saying a word, only looking at the trainer so that he knew where to go.

Finally, after another several hours of running, they came back to the top of the hill and stopped. Delano didn't even stop to lie down. His legs simply gave away and he fell down on the ground, feeling dead and emotionless.

Muroki didn't know for how long he would be able to keep pushing himself like that. He even doubted he'll be able to stand back up when their break was over.

Delano was so tired that he almost missed the order to get up. The pain and effort to do so was almost too much, but it left him unable to do anything else except for to try and keep his balance. He looked over at Muroki who was still struggling to get up. "Come on, you have to get up!" He told his brother quietly.

Muroki eventually stood up, almost falling back down immediately but managing to stay on his feet. It felt like they've been doing those stuff for days straight.
