The Prettiest Lioness

I understand the people who consider Zira as pretty. She's not like pretty-pretty, the stereotype for beauty, but she's animated in a such a cool way with an interesting design and very feminine movements that some people might find appealing. I personally think she's by far the best animated lion in SP. The same goes with Scar in TLK.

Agree with the bits about Zira.

Me too, but Scar is gorgeous and I still think Zira's pretty. xP

I don`t wanna start an arguement here, but I still don`t understand. What exactly makes Zira`s design more interesting? Don`t Nala and Kiara have feminine movements?

Don't get me wrong here. I said Zira's design were more intersting, not prettier. Big difference. AND I never said the Pridelanders (for instance) aren't feminine. :zirainnocent: :ha:

That`s exactly what I said too. What makes Zira`s design more interesting? Is it because she`s designed to look evil. No, you never said that the prideland lionesses aren`t feminine, but when you say that Zira is more interesting and adding that she has very feminine movements as opposed to the "pretty" lionesses, you`re implying that they`re not feminine compared to Zira.

Is feminine supposed to mean graceful, by the way?

OK, I see. Must've misunderstood you then:)

Hmm, I'll try to explain myself clearer: what I mean by feminine, is her smooth and - just as you said - graceful movements. The same goes with Scar; he has, in my opinion, these smooth movements that I consider feminine (ok, he's not a female, but males can still be feminine, right?). The lionesses in the Pridelands are more "neutral" in that way, not as exaggurated as the others. And then, of course, the feminine parts become more apparent.

Point made. But those smooth movements you describe I think is the movie makers making the villains look sneaky. If Nala were in Zira`s place, where she fights a lot and jumps around, she would look just as graceful and smooth.
