Hokori was close behind Shani and grimanced at his words. "Hey now, who says its ever too late to stir up some trouble? He cooly, striding up next to Shani to draw his eyes. "Anyway, I just woke up." Hokori himself was more of a night lion. His grey fur was not of much use on the golden sand of the beaches so he dare not try to stalk during the day. His blank, grey eyes also had exceptional sight during the night, making it the perfect time to go out.

Janus looked at the ground briefly. "So, one day, I'll find meaning in the slightest scratch I make on the rock?" She flexed her claws softly on the ground, trying her best not to damage it in any way.

Soon, Janus realized that Uzuri was in a sleep right next to her, and wouldn't be able to answer her question at that moment. I wouldn't want to wake her up for yet another question anyways...

She's still right. I was napping a little while ago, but I might as well just get some sleep for the hunting patrol tomorrow. Maybe, this might even be one of those nights when Janus could have a dream, so vivid in her head she'd remember it in the morning.

"Good night, my friend." Janus padded over to her area of shade, almost useless now in the dark light, and ducked head in between her paws. Good night, everyone.

Kivuli was still stting ontop of his piller thinkig of a plan. In the distance he could see some of the Coastlanders. Thy were just lazing around not doing much. A fresh carcuss was lying in the sea. It was only half eaten. As Kivuli watched an idea came to his head I got it! He yelled as his pridemates looked up at him. Kivuli bounded down from his pillar to join his fellow felines. Their leader worships the sea and life. When they finish with a kill they leave it for the ocean to claim. If this process is disrupted in anyway, Mhindi will fast to redeem his failure. He will become weak, allowing us to go in for the kill. I propose a mission to go and take that carcuss tonight. Besides its such a waste leaving half a kill

Another lion entered the sharp rock scene. He had tanish fur with redish paws and underbelly. His mane was brown and had three 'spikes' sticking out in front. It was Zane, a very close friend of Kivuli What are you up to know Kivuli? Another crazy war plan? Zanes maner towads Kivuli was somewhat playful. Kivuli just smiled and chuckled You know me, always wanting to stirr a bit of trouble

Hokori hopped up next to Kivuli, interested in this new proposition. "Well you wouldn't mind me tagging along with ya would ya? I could use a bit of excitement, He said, anxious to get out and into the coastlander's territory. The lion was full of energy at the sound of making trouble and ready to spring into anything he could.

[[OOC: seeing as I'm not going to be here for about a week, I'm going to write Shani out of the RP for a while.]]

Shani nodded to Zane as he appeared on the scene. It looked like he would have to work harder in the future to get his pride up and awake at a reasonable hour. What a pack of night-owls. He shook his head indulgently. At least the fact that his fellows were still full of energy allowed them to plan this mission.

"I don't think we should all go." Shani said with a finality that made it official. "Four people is more than enough to drag an ugly carcass out of the water. Hokari and Kivuli, you two should go, you'll blend into the night better than me. Zane the choice is up to you."

Shani waited to see his pride off on their mission and listen to any objections they might have.

Kivuli nodded towards hs king in agreement. He then turned towards Zane and Hokori. Sure Hokori come along, be easier and aster if we both go. Besides if trouble arises we can both be there. What about you Zane you want involed

Zane gave Kivulii a menicing grin and nodded. There is no way your doing this wthout me. We go everywhere together, and want to see to those fools suffer

"You'd better get moving then," Shani said. "I'll stay here to keep a lookout. Three lions is more than enough to drag a lousy carcass out of the water."

Shani's tone made the dismissal clear. It was time to get to work. He wondered what would happen if a coastlander happened to wake up and discover their mischief. He wasn't too concerned at any rate. The coastlanders weren't warriors. His pride would manage to escape without a problem. The only thing holding him back from an invasion was his obsession with their way of life. He wanted to understand their culture before he destroyed it.
