Delano closed his eyes, feeling like simply thinking about things while he waited. This meant that he jumped, startled, when a voice boomed up from behind them.

"Line up! All of you! Come on now! Line up nice and straight!"

Delano and the others hurried to line up, and Delano found himself stuck in between Muroki and another lion. He looked around to try and see who was shouting the orders, but as soon as he started to turn his head - "Legs straight! Eyes forward!" Delano didn't get a glimpse of who was in charge, but soon he will.

Muroki nearly jumped as he suddenly heard the stern voice. Having no intention at all to disobey after hearing the tone, he made sure that his legs were straight before looking forward.

A large lion made his way from around the group to where they could see him. Delano was impressed. This lion was big. And he also looked very strong as well. Better not get on his bad side.

"So, you are my group? Well, you will wish you weren't." The lion said, looking at them all. "Because I am going to make you the best lions these lands have to offer. And if you slip behind, you will suffer. A lot." He stopped at the center. "Sound off! Give me your names, left to right! Now!"

One by one, the lions gave the trainer their names. When Delano's turn came up, he almost faltered. "D-Delano!"

Muroki also said his name when his turn came, "Muroki!" somehow he managed to say his name clearly.

The trainer did't seem to notice them as they said their names. "Not anymore, you not!" He shouted, explaining why he wasn't paying any attention. "From now on, you will be named by your number. Same order as names, but now numbers. Sound off!"

Delano waited for his turn. "Six!" He called out, at the same time wondering how long it would be until they started to actually do stuff.

Muroki waited for his brother to finish before saying his number, "Seven!" he wondered whether there was an actual purpose for what was happening.

"Remember your number. Becasue that'd your new name." The trainer said. "You will have learn how to work together, and while I'm in charge, you are all equally unimportant. I am going to train you how to take that un-importance and turn it into the best crime-fighting this place has to offer. But for that, I need to know how good you are." The trainer turned. "Follow me!" He broke off into a run, and the others ran after him.

Muroki figured that falling behind would be a bad idea. He didn't at all want to get on that trainer's nerves so he also ran after him.

As they ran after the trainer, Delano struggled to keep up. "This guy is fast!" He gasped out in between breaths.

Muroki also had a harder time keeping up as the time passed. "I know!"
