Sykara sat down listening to Sirom's story in turn, but couldn't help twitching from plain nervousness as Sirom's eyes seemed to bore straight into her. She thought to herself, Everything's fine, it's fine....
"Oh, I see. I never considered myself as actually belonging to the Pride. Sometimes, I wish that my parents came back to me to tell me what happened, but who knows, they're probably either dead by now or goodness knows where. I might attempt to track them down some day, but it doesn't come to my mind much. As long as I find my home for herself, that's my goal." Sykara's nerves and mind had seemed to calm themselves down with the words. If Sirom didn't know perfectly what had happened to him as a cub, then neither could Sykara. She didn't really want to ask much more questions about the subject matter, either, to not cause more tension between her and a lion she had met today.
"And you hear two lions, also? Good. I thought I might be hearing stuff that's not there. Living by myself for so long, I think I got like that somehow." Sykara rolled her eyes and as Sirom went up on all fours, so did Sykara. "I don't think they'd do anything to us, as long as we don't attack them." Her ears focused toward the sound of one voice, the male one. "And one of them sounds like they're from the Pridelands, too! But why would he be here?"
Sykara edged a tad closer to Sirom, feeling more comfortable around him now. She looked straight into his eyes once more. "I assume you don't know me, seeing how curious I can be at times. I'll go a bit closer to them, try not to be seen, and then back away when I know a little more about what's going on, okay?" She smiled and slowly and, after a few small paw steps, took a bigger peek at the two lions. Yes, they are fighting over the Pride Lands and such. Hmm..
She edged back a tad, and looked over to the left to see another lioness far off, probably from the Pridelands too...

Vitani padded her way down the waterhole, from the comfortable light that seemed to surround the area of the Pridelands, from the Outlands, the place of eternal shadow, darkness, and hunger. With a shudder, Vitani could see the Elephant Graveyards, the scattered bones and skulls and whatnot, that was pretty much abandoned up until now. There were even webs and such created by spiders and other bugs. Vitani didn't feel like going down further, but now she could have a decent view of everything, and could leave as soon as she wanted to, or get Kovu out of a possible mess with the unknown Outlander lioness, if the scenario got any worse.
Hopefully, I'll be fine here and no one will notice here. Vitani waited for more answers from Kovu and the other Outlander, and she could even see, just barely, two other lions talking behind an elephant skull. Don't have something to do with me or Kovu, so might as well leave them be.
Vitani backed up a little bit and tried her best not to be seen at all by anyone, even the two lions talking behind the skull, seeming to just mind their own business.
