Here's an interestng article about things you never knew about The Lion King. Some things, you may know, others you may not.
http://www.csmonitor.com/The-Culture/Cu ... -Lion-King

Now, I have a question about what was wrong with one of the things in the article.

Please open the spoiler tag after what you read in the article.

Spoiler: show
Uh oh! :wow2: In fact number 8, the writers of the article got the name of the song that was supposed to be Hakuna Matata wrong. What was the incorrect name of the song, and what was the song's real name?

Have you figured out the answer yet?

Here it is!

Spoiler: show
The song's name was incorrectly written as "He's Got It All Worked Out". The actual song's name is "Warthog Rhaspody".

Love ya everyone and Hakuna Matata,

There's one that's false in there, but those were interesting little facts. Thanks for sharing! I'm glad there are 3 hyenas instead of 2.

I already knew Number 10, but I didn't know Gary Trousdale was the one who suggested it.

I didn't know Number 9.

I somewhat knew Number 8 and 1. They didn't mention another song instead of "Hakuna Matata" that was planned was "Warthog Rhapsody". And I knew the original title was King of the Jungle, but I never heard of the title being considered King of Beasts.

I sooo knew Number 7 and 5.

I didn't know about Number 6, 2, and 3.

10. Tommy Chong always seemed to played well off of Cheech but I don't think it would've worked for TLK.
9. That's the most charming insult ever lol.
8. Knew that. Why does that always seem to happen in movies? I recall Wizard of Oz actually taking out Over the Rainbow at one point.
7. Knew that.
6. Didn't know that.
5. Knew that. Heck, it's been in every single behind the scenes documentary of the film  Also, Disney has a history of doing this (See Bambi.)
4. Nine months? Would've thought more.
3. Interesting. Making him smaller maybe would've made the rhino joke even funnier then it was.
2. Interesting. Thought there was a specific model.
1. Knew King of the Jungle. Don't remember hearing King of the Beasts.

I didn't know about Pumbaa's belly, that Zazu was going to be a different type of bird, I didn't know about King Of The Beasts, or about Pride Rock.

Interesting stuff there. I knew some of them, mostly the same ones that Wrightfan knew actually. But it was an interesting list of stuff, and the ones that were new to me were good =P

Uh, I'm confused. What do they mean re-release in 3D? Is it going to look really different? :(

I think all it really means is that, they are re-releasing the Lion King into Theaters, only this time, they altered it to be a 3D movie. It will still be the same Lion King we all know and love.

Oh, okay. That's cool! I was scared that they would change it into computer animation or something! :-o
