It was very early, the sun just rising. She knew she had to leave the Pridelands forever to save the little prince from her mother. She couldn't understand why her mother wanted him dead; she had never been like this before. It was all because her father had died. Her father. Her mother. Both twisted by jealousy and hatred.

Her mother would be coming soon, she had overheard her plans last night. 'Sunrise' she had said, that was when she would murder the young prince.

She had to save the prince. She had to.

'Sauda, where are we going?' Kopa said. He was scared. He couldn't understand why his cousin had taken him.
'Somewhere far away, little one,' she replied, 'somewhere far, far away.'
