Lilly was soon getting thirsty. Then, she smelled a pool of water, then, she noticed, the golden lion was gone.Manyota! Look! Manyota looked. He's gone! Yeah, and I'm thirsty. Let's go find water. Then, the two ran towards the smell, but that smell wasn't water, it was the golden lion Lilly attacked. They soon got there. Then, Lilly saw him. You! Then, Lilly ran towards him.

Huyani narrowed her eyes at the two as they left. She didn't wanna follow, and kept her mouth silenced, untill she glanced back at the lion before her. He seemed, well, nice enough to have a talk with, and she smiled her friendly smile, and spoke as nicely as she could. "Forgive me, I have not fully introduced myself. My name, is Huyani. And yours, might I ask?" Maybe, she thought, this would be one of the first lions she would of met out here that she could travel with. This would be perfect! No more fending for yourself! Being in a "Pride" would be easier.

Sirom's eyes wandered from lioness to lioness, observing their movements and attitude. One of them seemed a bit too ungenerous to his liking but the gray furred lioness was more open minded to things, seeing how her attention was focusing more on him now. Nervousness was immediately picking up in his chest as he lightly bit down on the bottom portion of his ebony muzzle lips. Sirom knew traveling alone was going to cause more stress and impractical situations. He tried to keep a brave spectacle, eying the furred gray lioness as her voice broke the moment of silence. Upon hearing her apology and introduction, Sirom's fuzzy brown ears perked up now.

"Oh no, it's okay. I didn't even introduce myself... My name's Sirom and came from a far away land. I stumbled upon these lands a few days ago and noticed that there isn't really anything to acquire. So... I was thinking..." Sirom's nervous sounding tone trailed off as the young lion momentarily looked away.

Gaining enough courage, he briefly glanced back to Huyani and smiled warmly.

"I was thinking if I can tag along with you two. You know, better the odds of our survival. There has to be some kind of land in the distance that has lush and vegetarian for animals that we can feed off of." Sirom's nervous tone soon changed into a more calm sounding one, having hopes that Huyani will gladly accept him. Even if she doesn't, he was proud enough to offer his assistance for a great deed.

As the ran. Lilly thought something. Manyota! Stop! Then, Manyota stopped. What? Were about to get him! We should go back, come on. Then, Lilly started to run. Ugh. Fine. ten, Manyota rolled her eyes then started to run back with Lilly. Soon, they were where those two were. They ran back down. Were back! Grr! Lilly ran towards the lion and lioness. Lilly looked into his eyes, and soon saw this other thoughts. You think I'm ungenerous don't you?! Then, Lilly's claws snapped out. Then, Manyota looked at him. She was starting to like him, his looks, his attitude. Then, she spoke up. Lilly, leave him alone.


What? Why? Then, Lilly growled at both of them. He thinks I'm ungenerous, and you want me to leave him alone?! Just leave him alone!

Huyani glanced at the two lionesses who had returned, and already she didn't start to like them, but refused to show it on her face. Returning her gaze to the new lion she was talking to, Sirom, she smiled back at him. "I think, it would be a great idea, if we traveled together. Your right, one way or another, there must be somewhere with life in it, and finding it alone is impossible." She nodded, and looked up at the sky. It was getting hotter by the moment, and she hadn't had a real meal in forever, even before she found this place. Huyani turned back to Sirom, then the other two lionesses.

"If we want to find this new place, we had better get going." She stated with a calm voice, then she turned to the lionesses. "Do you wish you come along? You should, no one should be out here alone. Sooner or Later, you'll die if you stay here." She looked down, then back up at the lionesses and smiled. "You'll be joining me and Sirom here on our journey, right?"

Manyota looked at her with a stern eye. First of all, I was born here, I've lived under these conditions, while Lilly, who is a tigeress not a lioness, was brought here as a baby. And if we travel together, I just want you to know my wish.But Manyota didn't want to say. But then, Lilly spoke up. What's that? Lilly didn't understand that Manyota didn't even tell her about her wish. To have a cub.

My bad then. Keep your wishes, if you wish you travel amoungst us, you can come." Huyani said, and nodded to herself. She tried to keep her voice as humble and sweet as possible for her sake, even in the current situation. She glanced between the two females, then at Sirom. So far, he had been quite friendly with her, and she had liked him so far. She twitched her tail, and turned her gaze to the sun above. It was getting quite hot. They needed to move if they were going to. She turned to gaze to everyone, and nodded. "We, should we going now, we're wasting daylight if we don't."

Fine, we'll come, but once again, never call me a lioness, I'm a tigeress. then, Lilly started to walk. Manyota was upset, really upset. Every time she said that, it made her upset. She just wished for a cub, every night. Manyota just hung her head low. Then, she looked at the lion. Then, tears came down her eyes.

Zuri trotted along the cracked dirt ground, she was trotting to catch up since the heat was slowing her down, and her thirst. She hadn't drank anything for a long time, and if she didn't find water soon...she might die.

The water Shani found was warm and not especially clean. Under normal circumstances he might have turned his nose up at it, but at the moment he wouldn't have cared it it was toxic. He choked as much down as he could, only barely able to pace himself and avoid over drinking. Some lions didn't stop until they felt completely bloated, and they paid for it later with sickness and cramps. Not satisfied by the long drinks he allowed himself, Shani then dipped his entire body into the waterhole. The added cooling factor of the water finally drained Shani of his inhibitions and he drifted off into a dead sleep filled with restless dreams.
