The hardest subject in high school is actually not anything you have to think about. P.E. will most likely be your hardest subject, since periods are most longer in high school. I know I have 2 hour periods... at my school. >.>

As for homework, it depends on what your taking.

Easier Subjects 1-2 hours
Harder Subjects 2-4 hours

School takes up a lot of time.

Well, it's fine that you do that, as long as you can ace all your tests, and do your classwork... and ace that too. Of course in my last math class, tests were 70% of our grade... but that's understandable. Considering classwork is to practice freshly what your teacher taught you that day, then homework is for later on to make sure you could still remember after a little time, and then the test is the final step, to make sure you know for sure, what you learned. So sometimes it'll be like...

Tests: 50%
Homework: 25%
Classwork 25%

Sometimes there's crap like participation and stuff within there too.
