[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

OOC: I'm taking over for Kopalover as Kopa.

Kopa looked at Ruby as he followed her. "Yeah, we've all been waiting for those cubs to be born. I only hope I'll be good enough when I have to babysit them. I owe it to my aunt, since she watched my siblings and I when we were cubs," he said, remembering those days. Simba smiled at Nala. "Yes, the second one looked just like your mother. I'm sure she's overjoyed right now," he said.

Vitani nuzzled him back, "You are now known as Daddy Mheetu to Kamili, Saffy and Bianca. Our beautiful girls." She couldn't get over the fact that she was now a mother, to three healthy beautiful girls. The cubs mewed, "Shh, my beauties. Mommy and daddy will sleep soon as well." Licking them all again, as Kamili, Saffy and Bianca laid silently in-between Mheetu and Vitani's stomach. "I'm going to take a nap. Mheetu, if you don't want to stay here, that's fine." Resting her head on his mane and fell quickly asleep. Hoping he didn't want to leave, but understood if he did.

Kamili felt her mother sleeping, and her father awake. She inched towards her father and nuzzled up against his chest, her hear resting on his arm. In-between the paws of her father, she opened her eyes for the first time. Revealing the beautiful Aquamarine pupils she gained from both of her parents.

Folle went back to Priderock, "Sorry about that, I needed a moment." Laughing, then straightening up quickly. Sitting beside Chaka. "Have you seen the cubs yet? Their gorgeous!" Mainly remembering the one that looked like Zira.

Kiara smiled at Anakin, "So, want me to show you the Pridelands?" Asking Anakin, as he nodded in response. They walked off the grey rock and into the Pridelands. "The waterhole is over there, it's where everyone goes in the mainly in the morning. Then Rafiki's tree, he knows everything about the past, future and present. If you ever need anything spiritual, go to him." As she sat in the middle of the Pridelands. "It's a beautiful place." Kiara said, breathing in the soft air.

"Indeed it is, compared to my home." Anakin smiled, remembering his family and their gruesome deaths.

Simba looked about his kingdom as Nala rested nearby. "Well, Nala, we have nieces now. I'm going to try to be the best uncle I can be, and I'm surely not going to plot against them like Scar did me," he said with a wink.

OOC: Nobody took over for me?

Kovu grunted and tried to shove his way in between Kiara and Anakin. "So, Kiara, how do you like your new cousins?"

Kiara smiled at Kovu, "They are adorable! So Kovu, how's it like being a half-uncle?" Winking, remembering over hearing his and Vitani's conversation.

Anakin's smiled, turned quickly to a frown as Kovu came. "I haven't seen them yet, have you Kovu?" Asking as question, just to be kind.

"No, not yet," he said, putting emphasis on yet, while shoving Anakin to the side.

Nala smiled with a grin, "They were all beautiful..." she said gazing at Kiara walking with Kovu and Anakin. She looked up towards Simba with her crystal blue eyes and then licked his cheek. "I can't wait to baby sit them! Boy, do I miss having little ones around.." she added with a sigh.


Mheetu watched Vitani as she slept exhausted from her day and he laid there in their den quietly, he smiled as Kamili wiggled her way to him. He leaned down and nuzzled his nose into his new munchkin. "Kamili...you are so beautiful, like your mother." he whispered softly smiling. He lifted his paw and pulled Saffy and Bianca closer to Vitani and himself and then rested it back down by Kamili.


Ruby smiled, "That will be fun!" she spoke as she walked beside Kopa. She nuzzled his mane softly and pulled away sheepishly, her amber eyes caught sight of Anakin. "So that looks like the suitor for Kiara right?" she asked softly in a whisper.


Saffy gave a soft yawn as she felt the soft fur of her mother's belly, curling up closely. She could head the soft beats of Vitani's heart and she mewed a bit before returning to her slumber.

Simba smiled. "It really has been too long since we've had cubs around here. I still remember when our cubs were little, and I also remember when Mheetu was a cub and tagged along with me all the time. Nala, he once even begged me not to marry you," he said with a laugh.

Bianca heard the small mewl from her sister, and mewled back, pushing her. Then, she stretched out as far as she could, and took up all of the room in Vitani's arms. Satisfied, she went back to sleep.

Simba chuckled to himself. "Oh Nala, I can't wait to see Kopa, Chaka and Kiara interacting with their cousins. I'm sure Kiara will have a good time, but I hope Kopa and Chaka will be on their best behavior," he said.
