Uru snuggled into his warm furry side, "I think Mufasa and Sarabi would enjoy that..." she said softly licking Ahadi's cheek. She gazed in his eyes, "You are King for a reason..." she said smiling.


Mufasa shook his head, "Nope born and raised a Pride lander, my father was a rogue when he met my mom though." he said looking back at Sarabi and Sarafina chatter. "What are you two being so loud back there...?" he said turning to look at them nudge eachother. He looked back at Topas, "Well make yourself at home...Sarafina has spare time. Maybe she can show you a nice den and the watering hole. But me and Sarabi got to run.." he said nodding to his mate. He stepped behind Sarafina and nudged her forward, "Show Topas around.." he said with a smirk. He bounded off and turned back to see if Sarabi was following behind him.

Sarafina frowned a bit at Sarabi's words and she gave a small sigh before Mufasa turned the attention on them. She muttered a bit and stepped towards Topas smiling slightly, "Well...hello. im Saffy...Well are you thirsty?" she asked curiously her green eyes watching him closely.

Ahadi smiled again. "Yes. I am king so that I can let my son do everything for me." He joked. "I am also sure that the two of them will enjoy sorting this thing out. See how far they've gone with their training."


Sarabi watched as Mufasa effectively forced Sarafina to lead Topas around the lands. "Come on, it won't be that bad," she said softly, "You'll get to know him better!" With that, she turned and ran after Mufasa, leaving Sarafina behind with Topas.

Topas looked at Sarafina. "I... I am actually thirsty, thanks," he stammered. "Mi- mind showing the way?" He tried asking, feeling nervous.

Uru nodded, "We could spend some alone time chatting with the animals to see if they like how Mufasa and Sarabi run it." she said softly. "Kind of like a test." she said nestling her face into his furry chest.


Mufasa ran ahead and slowed down when Sarabi joined his side, he turned and tackled the beautiful lioness to the soft grass. He licked her cheek, "The way you talked to Zira, put a smile on me." he teased. "It was in a Queen's authority...i loved it." he said rolling around the soft grass with Sarabi. He didn't care if anyone saw, she made him want to be lovable and playful. Nothing was better then the time he spent with Sarabi, "Maybe Saffy can find herself a mate in Topas..." he said looking up at his future Queen.


Saffy nodded and stepped through the Pride lands next to Topas, "Wheres your family?" she asked softly. Her green eyes looked up at him and then she kept staring forward.

Ahadi smiled as Uru rested against him. "Yeah," he agreed with her, "A trial run would be good for them to see how well they rule before they take over." He leaned back to look at Uru. "When do you think we should have Mufasa and Sarabi try and run the kingdom by themselves?" He asked her.


Sarabi laughed as they rolled and wrestled together. "Well, all mighty king! Maybe you can use your authority as well!" She teased back. Rolling on top of him, she stopped when he mentioned Sarafina. "Topas seems like a good lion," she said, "If he decides to stay, I think that he and Sarafina will work out together." She sighed. "It's about time she found someone. Sarafina is a good friend. She doesn't deserve to be alone."


Topas looked at Sarafina as they walked. "Well, I left my family." He explained. "My pride still followed the 'kick the males out' laws that some prides follow. My family was one of those. So I grew old enough, and left." Topas said. "Nothing to it, really."

Uru leaned her head on Ahadi's warm belly as she gazed up at him thinking, "Well...do you think they can handle it soon? They both have done very well together and Sarabi seems to be keeping Mufasa on task." she muttered out loud. Closing her eyes she listened to Ahadi's steady heart beat, "When ever you want a break my love, we can let them run it for a few days." she whispered.


Mufasa chuckled as he and Sarabi rolled around in the soft green grass and he opened his warm brown eyes to see her serious face. "I know Sarabi....I can't help it there arent many lions in our Pride." he added giving her a nuzzle of his own. "If Topas stays and she likes him then they can be together.." he said rolling over letting her slide to his side. He pulled her closer with his paw and rested next to her his face in her warm neck fur, "She doesn't deserve to be alone...no one does." he whispered in her ear.


Sarafina nodded as they walked through the grassy area, "Oh..I see. Do you like being a rogue? Or were you looking for a more permanent home?" she wondered. Sarafina's green eyes left Topas when she noticed Mufasa and Sarabi cuddling in the distance and she chuckled, she smiled at how in love they were. A slight frown passed her muzzle as they continued towards the watering hole, "I wasn't born in the Pride lands, but this place will always be my home."

Ahadi grinned. "Yeah, a break sounds nice," he replied. "A lot like Mohatu did with me at first. Initially when he thought that I was ready, he would have me do all the work while he would go off and spend some time wit Kamaria... I don't see why we can't do the same." He answered. "I'll talk with Mufasa and Sarabi when we meet up with them again."


Sarabi smiled. "You know, I think that Sarafina and Topas will actually work out," she said. "He doesn't seem to have much of an attitude, unlike Zira. I think that he will like Sarafina, and she will like him."


Topas stopped at the question. "I... don't really know," He replied uncertainly. "There are so many lions and lionesses here, to much really... but at the same time... I like it here." He said finally. "If you show me how great your home is," he told Sarafina, "I think I will grow to enjoy it."

Uru smiled, "Dad always had such faith in you...in us for that matter. I have faith for Mufasa and Sarabi...I know she loves him till the end." she whispered softly giving Ahadi's a lick on his cheek. "We can start in a few days..lets keep our eyes on these new rogues wandering around. Then we can let them take over..." she added, "If they do really good we could retire early..." she teased. Her honey colored eyes flickered a bit as she gazed up at Ahadi, [b]"What about Taka...?" she asked softly.


Mufasa nodded and snuggled into Sarabi, "You always end up being right m'love." he whispered. "He better treat her right though...Zira reminds me of Scar. The way she slinks about the land..." he said in a low tone looking at his mate. "Keep your eye on her Sarabi...never turn your back on her." he said sternly. He gazed up at the setting sun and heaved himself to his massive paws, "Come on..lets go.." he said looking down at her with a smile.


Sarafina followed close beside Topas and she smiled at his words and nodded, "I think you will too..." she whispered giving him a small smirk. As they approached the watering hole Sarafina bounded ahead of Topas and got herself a cooling drink her green eyes watching for her new friend. When he got close enough she lifted her muzzle from the water, "Its always cold and refreshing.." she said with a smile. She lifted her paw and mischievously gave a splash his way and quickly she looked away when he looked up from his drink.


Even though the sun was setting on the land Zira was heading towards the edge of the Pride lands, walking towards the part of the land in shadows. Her own curiosity brought her to the elephant grave yard and her amber eyes widened as she gazed at the bone yard. Quietly she slid down the boney hill and landed on the soft ground with a thud, she proceeded to travel deeper into the unknown area.

Ahadi thought about it. "Yeah, I also think that they are ready to rule the kingdom." he said, "But you are right. Let's first get used to the rogues, see what they are like and what they do before we let Mufasa and Sarabi take over for us." He said.

Ahadi looked at the setting sun and stared i awe. "The sun's beautiful, isn't it?" He whispered to Uru before looking at her. "Just as you are."


Sarabi also looked at the sun and sighed. Getting up, she followed Mufasa back to the den. "I think we should talk to Sarafina about him. See what she thinks of him." She said as they walked. "That is, if we will find her alone." Sarabi said, smiling. "After all, when was the last time you were without me?"


Topas followed Sarafina to the waterhole and walked to the edge, leaning down to drink. As he did, some water splashed over him. He looked up immediately, and saw Sarafina trying to look oblivious to what just happened. Let her be. He thought, and continued to drink. But without warning, he turned and swung his paw at the water, splashing her in turn. "How do you like that?" He asked playfully.


Scar wandered through the graveyard, talking with the hyenas. But then he heard footsteps and crouched down. "Go on your way, I'll see who is intruding." He told his friends, and the hyenas scurried off, laughing as they always did. Carefully, Scar climbed on top of a bony hill and looked down. He was surprised to see an unfamiliar lioness walking, oblivious to who invested the graveyard.

Uru's honey colored eyes flickered at the sun set and then she side glanced as Ahadi looked at her. She grinned widely and leaned in giving his cheek a lick. "Even after all these years you're still a charmer." she teased. She rested her head on Ahadi's shoulder, "I think we did a fine job at raising Mufasa..." she whispered. A frown passed her muzzle though as she gazed out over the lands, "I'm not sure if i'll ever get my Taka back..."


Mufasa smirked and gave a huff, "Well...It's because I choose to not be without you my queen." he said rubbing his head off hers. "We will chat with Saffy tomorrow, lets give them the day to get acquainted." he added raising a brow towards Sarabi. "You don't want to leave my side either!" he retorted as he chased her up the ledges to their den.



The splash was cold and it got her right in her face, she shook the droplets off. A smirk crossed her muzzle, "I didn't know you had it in you.." she teased. She slowly stepped beside Topas and she nudged him with her body into the water. She lifted her paw to her muzzle and giggled, "Don't play games with a lioness who can play them better." she said with a grin. Her green eyes flickered as the sun began to set and for a moment she was distracted by the sky's beautiful colors.




She wandered about knocking the old bones out of her way and her amber eyes narrowed thinly as small crevices in the earth spouted smoke. She paused a moment and glanced about the dark area, she felt herself being watched. It was their when she lifted her eyes up higher she noticed him, he stood tall on top of the Elephant skull. His mane was black and his eyes were green, Zira froze her owen gaze trapped in his.

"Even if Taka will not rejoin us," Ahadi said, "I think he will still find a path suitable for him. Maybe the one we wanted for him, maybe it wasn't the right one."


Sarabi grinned and ran after Mufasa. "Say what you want!" She cried out at his back. "But you mark my words that I will be the last thing you see during this life!"


Topas broke thought the water, gasping for air. "You are not better!" He said, "Just sneakier!" But when he tried getting back on land, Sarafina again shoved him back into the water. So he made sure to call truce before getting on land and shaking himself dry. "You are a fool, Sarafina," he said, "Because you let your guard down." And he then shoved her in like she did to him. When she broke the surface, Topas grinned at her. "I'll help you stay in the water!" He teased.


Scar hesitated when he saw this lioness look up at him. He grinned slyly and moved away from his vantage point, disappearing from her sight. He leaned down to some of his hyena friends. "Go and attack her," he ordered quietly. "See how well she fights." They nodded and giggled as they made their way around the bones.
