Sorry for the double post, but I spoke with Jenna again, and we have a plot:

Story: Simba does not fall for Scar's mind games, and returns to Pride Rock, telling Sarabi everything. After defending him from an enraged Scar, Sarabi takes him and the others to the jungle, where Simba is raised to adulthood, falling in love with Nala as a teen.
