Kivuli was highly aggitated by Simba at thi pont and almost went for him. However The grey lion kept his cool and spoke back to the king I assure you Simba its the truth, i promised you yesterday i will look after your pride Kivuli's lttle rant was then dsturbed by a voice behind him. He turned his head and loked up he saw a baboon , literally monkeying round on a rock. Kivuli glared at him for the snide remark How many tmes should i say it, im not wooing no one Kivuli then muttered under his breath Annoying monkey....

Kivuli then observeed the conversaation between the ape and the king. Hi name came up agian. This time it sounded like the monkey knew Kivuli which greatly puzzled him Who the hell are are monkey. How do you know me!!!

Taraji put her head into her neck to signalize Kiara that she was ready for a bath. After all bathing was one of the things she ever enjoyed the most. Maybe because her mother did it so often to her and it had been the only thing she could have done with her mother as they had been in the cage.

Her voice still sounded a bit tired and also a bit unhappy because she still had a growling stomach and did not understand why Kiara was not giving milk.

Understanding the subtle signal issued by the small cub, Kiara started to bathe her adopted daughter with long, loving strides of her moist tongue, starting at her hind quarters and working her way up, passing thoroughly over every strand of her reddish fur, making it glisten from the moisture given off by the passing muscle. Purring softly as she truly cherished these special intimate moments with Taraji, Kiara meticulously groomed the crystal eyed cub from tail to head, giving a light nudge with her nose to indicate for Taraji to shift positions so she could clean the unexposed sections of her little frame. While attending to Taraji’s bath, Kiara thought about what they could do today. Hearing her daughter’s very vocal stomach, Kiara knew that finding her breakfast would be at the top of the list, but recalling her mother’s words from last night, Kiara had no clue on what exactly Taraji’s breakfast would be today. Unsure if she should just wait for her mother to arrive, as Nala had made mention to the previous day, or if she should in fact, go and find her herself. Figuring that the ladder option was out of the question for the mean time, seeing how her mate was missing in action, Kiara decided to wait on any specific plans, merely keeping her focus upon her adorable daughter as she finished up the task at paw, giving the cute little cub’s face a few gentle licks before she leaned in to nuzzle her affectionately to signify that the bath was complete.

”How do you feel Cutie? Nice and clean. Maybe when Daddy gets home, we can try and find you something to eat.”

Keeping her head low, enjoying her special time with Taraji, Kiara locked eyes with her daughter’s, noting the slight sadness within those crystal orbs of hers, causing the golden furred princess to feel a bit saddened herself. Deep down, Kiara assumed that Taraji still missed her mother and no matter how hard she tried, she would never be able to fully replace her as Taraji’s parental figure in life. Still, the love she held for this little cub would never leave her and regardless of this fact, Kiara would protect and care for her as if she were her own cub.

Vitani had had about enough of the nonsense coming out of Rafiki's mouth. She was glad that the monkey had broken the tension, but she found herself wishing that he'd shut up now. When he threatened to drag Kivuli off on a useless reunion trip Vitani thought it was time to bring the scene back to reality.

"Can we get back to the point here?" Vitani interrupted mildly. "Let's ignore the monkey for a second. Kivuli, Mila: I don't know how you rate your relationships, but in my mind full-body-cuddling is a bit more than a simple friendly get together. Maybe you should explain more to Simba what you've been doing together for the last while."

---------------------------

Kovu was finally nearing the den. He crossed the final distance and poked his head inside, hoping that his mate and little cub were awake. He was gratified to see that they were both up and about, looking like they weren't far off from starting their day. Kovu went over to Taraji, who was just recovering from a lovely bath. He rubbed her head gently with one paw.

"Well good morning there little one." Kovu said with as much artificial excitement as he could generate. He knew that the next subject of conversation with Kiara would be less pleasant. "Ready for a new day?"

He then raised his eyes to meet Kiara's. "I need your help love." he said to Kiara while nuzzling her in greeting. "Nala's in the main den, and she's very depressed. I think she and Simba had a fight about Kopa. Simba just can't believe that it's him. I don't know what I think myself, but Nala needs us now. I didn't want to leave her, but I didn't know what to do. If you two don't need to stop by at the waterhole we can go straight up now."

Hearing slight movement coming from near the entrance of the den, Kiara’s eyes shot over towards the source of the disturbance, happily rewarded with the sight of her beloved mate finally making his return home. Kiara watched lovingly as Kovu gave their daughter a warm mornings welcome before he turned his attention to her. Kiara’s happiness didn’t last long however, as the news that met with her ears next seemed to stir up her emotions. Knowing full well that the subject of Kopa was something that always caused a rift between her parents and knowing that this matter was quite personal, Kiara had no other option. Gently picking their daughter up and placing her down softly atop the den floor, Kiara looked up at her mate with a serious expression as she spoke in a hushed tone, as not to worry Taraji.

”Listen Honey, I think I better deal with this problem alone. This situation is very personal and I doubt my mom will be willing to open up about it with you around. It’s nothing personal of course Honey and I’m sure you can understand. Will you watch Taraji for me though. I don’t want her to have to see Nala in this sort of state. It would be better if she remains here with you.” Trying to lift her spirit’s a bit, Kiara added in with a smile. ”This will give you two some time to bond and give you a bit of practice. Who knows, maybe you’ll need it for our own cubs someday Honey.” Leaning in to give her mate a tender nuzzle and loving lick over his cheek, Kiara murmured into his ear softly.

”She’s hungry too, so you might want to try and find her something to eat. I don’t think she’ll like sour milk from my mom right now you know.”

Turning her attention back towards Taraji, Kiara leaned down and gave their daughter a loving nuzzle before she spoke quietly.

”Mommy has to go and take care of something for a bit Cutie but Daddy is going to stay here and watch over you. I’ll be back as soon as I can Cutie. Be a good cub for him, okay?”

Truly not wanting to leave her beloved family, but knowing that her mother’s needs were very important as well, Kiara gave one last loving gaze at both her special mate and daughter before she exited the den and made her way quickly to the main den to attend to her mother’s situation.

Taraji was even more confused and looked asking up to Kiara and Kovu.
Also her belly was asking even louder for it's breakfirst now.

Meanwhile Laini came into sight with her old den. She carefully advanced on the den ready to hide if anyone was there already.

Daxis was still asleep because he was up very late last night he considered about a few things happened
last time. As he thought about the pride he joined he fell asleep. He layed in a very dark corner and
breathed very low. His dark brown fur made him nearly invisible in the shadows only his red mane gleamed a bit in the morning when the sunlight entered the den but now the sunlight shined against the cold rock of the den and daxis was nearly invisible. The red maned cub didnt notice someone entered the den and still breathed low in his sleep.

Laini took two steps into the den. Due she was not a really skilled tracker - actually she was good in nothing than in bringing herself into a good shape - she did not notice Daxis. She sighed. She really wanted to stay in this den. Her new one was big... to big for Laini. It was depressing to have so much space without someone to share it.

Laini decided that she shouldn't be here even if her heart was heavy at leaving the den again. She turned around and stoped for a faint moment at the entrance of the den. The sun in her face and the den in her back.

Daxis noticed something and woke up slowly and yawned loudly. He opened slowly his eyes and saw the neat lioness who was the owner of the den before Daxis got it. He jumped quickly out of the shadows and ran in her way to stop her. His red maned head moved up to look in her face. He had to lay his head a bit in his neck to saw her whole face and then he spoke softly.

"Hey Laini do you want your den back .... well i noticed your very attached to it so..."

He turned his head down again and went out of her way if she wanted to leave.

Laini was startled as Daxis jumped in front of her. She backed off a few yards into the den.
She was utterly surprised by the kind words of Daxis but she still was a bit carefull around him.

"I... can't take it from you... I mean..." Laini looked to the ground. Even he was true and she was very attached to it she also was to kind to take it from him knowing that the King would not allow Daxis to settle anywhere else. Also Laini thought about what the King would do to her if she would refuse the den he offered her. "I.... it's not possible because the king..." Laini still had her eyes faced to the ground and her voice faded away. She had been able to talk to Daxis because he had been kind... a complete new side to Daxis... but she still was very... shy and afraid of him.
