Vitani's eyes widened as she turned to her family. The monkey left, as she started hyperventilating. "Simba, Simba. Get Nala. I think these pains are labor." A tight pain squeezed her lower stomach, then turning to Mheetu. "Get ready, you're going to be a father in a matter of moments." Grabbing her stomach and slightly digging her claws into her skin.

Kiara smiled, "Of course I do. I heard how you grew up, now that the person who is edging you towards killing is gone. You're free, and now you can live however you want, without the push to kill." Her wisdom has grown and so has her thoughts. She learned to read people by looking into their eyes. One thing she could not see yet, was the cunning plan the Outlanders had set on them.

Simba rushed out, got Nala and then went and got their offspring. "Come on, your Aunt Vitani is going to have her cubs," he said. He then returned with his family. "We're all here, Vitani," he said.

"Yeah," he said nervously, "I guess I am."

Shetani grunted as she fell over. Walking without a leg sure was hard. But she was learning. "Mommy, do you think I'll ever get to be big like Kovu?"
Zira smiled. "I know you will. And I know that when you're big like Kovu, you will be able to do the same things he can."
"Kill Simba?"
"Yes, my dear. Yes,"

Simba went over to Vitani. "We're all here, 'Tani," he said in a gentle voice.

Vitani smiled, "But what about the children. They won't want cubs if they are in here." Trying to make a little joke, but still balled up in pain.

Simba agreed. He looked at Kopa, Chaka and Kiara. "She's right. Wait outside until this is over. I'll call you when this is done," he said. He then turned back to Vitani. "It's going to be all right," he said.

Nala bounded inside the den and nodded as Simba sent the cubs out to wait, she sat slowly down near Rafiki. She looked at Vitani's swelled belly and she nodded, "I can see a head!" she squealed with a bit of excitement. She looked up to Simba and then smiled widely as she coaxed Vitani into her breathing.


Ruby padded towards the royal den at the sound of commotion she smiled at Kiara and Kovu and sat beside Kopa. "Good morning Kopa, Whats all the ruckus about? What's happening?" she asked curiously. She saw the Pride gathered outside but she could hear the King and Queen's voice inside.


Mheetu licked Vitani's cheek and let her head rest on his body as a pillow, "You can do this Vitani...we are about to be parents.." he whispered softly watching closely. The excitement swelled inside his chest and the lion looked at Rafiki and Nala, "Well...can you see a head?" he asked curiously.

Simba was breathing heavily and was very nervous. "Nala, the only other time I've been this nervous is when you were delivering our cubs," he said, trying to avoid a full-on panic attack.

Vitani pushed and the cub popped out, a perfectly healthy girl. Colours lighter than Nala's, with dark eye rims like her. "Kamili, her name is Kamili." Smiling, as Nala put her first newborn beside her. Vitani reached over and pushed the cub towards her stomach to drink. "Mheetu, her fur is like you!" Smiling, as she felt another cub coming. "Another!" Saying before pushing to let another cub out again. While licking Kamili.

Kopa smiled, "We're going to be cousins!" Saying happily, nuzzling Ruby then taking a peak inside the den to see Mheetu and Vitani looking down near Vitani stomach. He was already a cousin, he let out an excited yell. "I can't wait to see them!" Bouncing as he sat.

Folle came out of the den. "Hey guys! What's going on?" Directing at Chaka and she sat close beside the handsome lion.

Kiara joined in the bouncing with her brother. "Maybe they'll look like us? Or or even Papa 'Fasa!" Laughing, then looking up at the sky to see the rays of sun shooting towards Vitani's den. She smiled, and bowed her head when no one was looking.
