[Maleficent]

"I see," Zira said before frowning. She didn't like Sarabi at all and was quite suspicious of her. Looking defiant, she replied, "If Scar is in a state of distress, I'm certain you'd like to leave him alone since he is mourning his brother."

[Lillian]

".....and nephew.....he was quite ok to tell us about the accident earlier, I insist on coming with you", Sarabi replied, standing up and looking at the lioness.

[Maleficent]

"Oh, and nephew," Zira said, waving her paw like she thought Simba was worth nothing to Scar. Not liking Sarabi's expression, Zira frowned, "Why not just tell me what you would like to know and I will ask him the questions myself?"

[Lillian]

Sarabi growled, "No, I insist". She got up and began walking to the Royal Cave, not waiting for Zira. She stepped in, "Scar? Are you here? I need to talk to you".

[Maleficent]

"You are no longer queen, you cannot just help yourself to whatever you want," Zira hissed stepping in front of Sarabi as she called into the cave, "Scar, you have a visitor."

From deeper inside the cave, Scar murmured, "Ah, Zira. So you have returned. Bring the visitor in."

[Lillian]

Sarabi was outraged, she stormed into the cave. "How dare your mate say what she just said". She glared at both Scar and Zira, "Well Scar? What is happening to the throne?!".

[Maleficent]

"What did she say?" Scar asked, a smile fluttering around his lips as he replied, "She merely told me about your presence." Turning to Zira, he motioned her to his side and nuzzled her gently before turning back to Sarabi and saying, "I believe we have already gone over this. With Mufasa and Simba both killed, I am next in line for the throne."

[Lillian]

Sarabi growled louder, "I know that Scar, but your mate said that I was not Queen! You cannot just kick me off the throne!". The older lioness still stood her ground, watching the two lions with her now angry eyes.

[Maleficent]

"Oh, but I believe I very well can," Scar contradicted, trying not to smirk. "You see, with Mufasa dead, you are no longer connected to the throne unless you were to be my queen."

At those words, Zira shifted slightly and glared at Sarabi.

[Lillian]

Sarabi came to that realization with a quick gasp. "Oh...I see, I would never be your Queen so I withdraw with my head high. I just hope you and your Queen rule as well as Mufasa, your Majesty". Sarabi walked out of the cave and back to the lionesses. One of them looked at her, "Your Majesty, I-", "I am no longer Queen...the King will be choosing his soon enough".
