[Closed] Trials in the Pridelands

Nala smirked and gazed back at Simba, "I slept peacefully..." she said with a big grin. She lifted her muzzle up and nuzzled Simba's fluffy red mane and let out a small yawn, "Let the day begin.." she said with a soft sigh.



Ruby's amber eyes opened slowly as light from the outside made it into her den, she quickly stood to her den as sounds of the outside reached her ears. Taking a second she stretched out forward and let a small yawn escape her muzzle lips, the princess stepped into the morning air. She gazed around the Pride lands as the animals started their day, she grinned widely.

Moments later, Simba stepped out into the sunlight. He loved doing this every morning. He looked at Ruby. "Well, Princess, it seems to me that you and Kopa get along very well," he said.

Vitani had awoken, she hasn't moved in a while. The pregnancy had kept her on the ground for around two weeks now. Her cubs were due any minute, and the pains just kept getting worse and worse. It felt as if someone just kept kicking her stomach, which they were. The cubs kept kicking, which made every lioness want to feel the unborn babies. "Mheetu, you'll be a father soon. I can feel it." Looking up at him with her blood shot blue eyes, from lack of sleep.

Kopa had become to love Ruby, since the first day he knew they were meant to be. He hoped Kiara's mate would come soon, he'd heard stories of him. All of them, meaning he was a special one. Yet, he had to wait and hear them. Walking out of the den and into the warm sun, he smiled then walked up to the very tip of Priderock and laid down. Watching the animals get up and wake their loved ones. Wishing he could sleep next to Ruby soon, in the Royal Den. Together as King and Queen, watching their own cubs yawn and open their eyes. "This say is going to be great." Whispering to himself, having a good feeling about today.

Kiara was already awake and at the waterhole, looking into the water. Seeing she didn't have another half. Sighing, he ruined the image by drinking from the cold water. Feeling the water trickle through her warm body. Looking off into the distance, she noticed a lion. About her age, walking towards Priderock. She stayed where she was, knowing he was probably here to speak to her father and not her.

Anakin, a prince who had traveled many miles to marry the Princess of the Pridelands. The light scar across his left eye had come from a battle with a pack of Hyena's entering his lands. They killed his younger sister and father before he drove them out. Throughout the past couple of months he felt as if their death was his fault, which it was not. The hyena's came from the pack Scar was accompanied with, and after he died they had no where to go. His life was filled with horror, having to live and the only male figure in his family and after his mother fell ill. Many of the Pride members left, knowing Anakin was still to young to take over as king. So, once the blue Hornbill came and told him their was a princess waiting, he started his journey just after his mother died. "Mother, I promise I will live on your honor." Remembering what he said to his mother, in her last minutes. Her name was Rangi, meaning colours. As her fur was filled with many different natural colours.

Folle had her bright white fur back to white again, it toke forever to get the blood out of her fur. Feeling very strong feelings for Chaka, not because he was a Prince but because he had greatness set for him. You could almost say she loved him, but refused to tell him herself. Being as, he might reject her because of her background. Walking out of the den, she say Simba and Nala. "Hello Simba. Hello Nala!" Smiling their way, then walking past them to lay in the grass below Priderock.

Simba decided to go and check on Vitani. He knew that the cubs would soon be on their way. Upon arrival in the den, he looked at his sister. "How's my sister today?" he asked.

Kovu jumped back when the figure moved. It wasn't Kiara, but Kopa, curled up. He backed away and ran out of the cave, looking for the princess. When he found her at the Waterhole, he silently crept beside her. "You are beautiful, you know,"

Vitani attempted smiling at Simba, but knew she couldn't. The pain was to much. "I'm good. Do you mind going to get the darn monkey. To tell me when my cubs are born? I can't stand the pain!" Making her voice louder on the last word. Her body was wet from the sweat, and only her arms, head, and neck were move-able. Every other body part hurt to move.

Kiara smirked, "Don't lie. I know I'm not." Laughing, looking at herself in the reflection.

Simba nodded and then left to get Rafiki. Returning with the king to the den, Rafiki approached Vitani. "Greetings, Princess. I am here," he said.

"I'm not the one lying. You are," he smiled. For someone he was going to possibly kill, she was pretty beautiful. He also awarded himself a star for being convincing.

"Thank you, but I still don't believe it." Looking up at his stunning green eyes. "You have mighty eyes. You'll be a great person. I can tell by your eyes, and how they sparkle. You don't want to kill, and you will never want to." Reading this from his eyes, which were close to her face.

Vitani sighed in relief, "Good, you're here. Can you tell me when my little ones will be arriving? I can't stand this pernicious pain." Tilting her head back and shutting her eyes in pain again. Mheetu, being right beside her calmed her.
