[Request] Silence Isn't Always Golden

[Kina]

Siri's brow arched at Nuka's sudden outburst, startled - Edging out from under Sarafina now, although still giving Zira the majority of her attention. She'd learned from the older lionesses to never take ones eyes off of a threat, no matter how tempting it seemed to look elsewhere.

[Maleficent]

Zira had a sudden urge to pound some sense into Nuka, but she continued to feign friendliness as she turned to Sarafina and said, "He's been through quite a bit, please forgive him."

Turning towards Nuka, she picked him up with her claws and pulled him away from Sarafina, asking, "Nuka, what has gotten into you? What would Scar say if he saw his only son becoming a liar?"

[Misiziri]

Nuka bit her nose, "Your the liar, you rotten beast! I hate you, I hate you, I hate you!" he screeched.

Sarafina comfortingly retrieved Nuka from Zira's wrath. "You won't be hurting the child any longer." She said spitefully.

[Maleficent]

Zira's eyes widened at Nuka, "Nuka, what have I taught you about calling people names? You should be ashamed of yourself."

Turning to Sarafina, her eyes narrowed slightly, "I thank you for your concern, but as Nuka is MY child, he shall be staying with me."

[Kina]

Although it was a little foolish to move in front of Nuka and Sarafina both, the undersized cub solidly planted her paws in a well mimicked hunter's crouch. All it was missing was the warning growl. But there was no doubting her gall, be it bravery or recklessness. Satisfaction flitted through her clay colored eyes at Sarafina's fresh claim on Nuka as her young, her tail tuft twitching in amusement.

[Maleficent]

Zira peered down at the cub crouching in front of her. Zira despised her already. Zira turned to the cub and asked, "What is your name, child?"

[Kina]

Siri only held Zira's gaze, not out of spite, but simply unable to answer. Even so, it probably annoyed the older lioness.

[Maleficent]

Zira's eyes flashed in annoyance. She hated it when someone ignored one of her questions. Stepping forwards to get a better look at the young cub, Zira asked in a patronizing voice, "Hasn't mommy told you it's not polite to ignore someone when they're asking you a question?"

[Misiziri]

Sarafina growled lowly, "Enough with your nonsense. Leave now, outlander!"

[Kina]

The ash gray cub simply held her head up resolutely, although her ears twitched slightly. Was Zira that out of reality that she forgot she was mute? Honestly - They came from the same section of the pride.
