While being a particularly small cub for her age, her red-orange clay colored eyes certainly do tend to stick out. Siri’s gray pelt is the color of old ash, and the individual digits on her paws are the same pale color. Her subpelt is a lighter cool gray, and a fluffy black tail tuft tops off her appearances along with a black “Outlander” style nose.

As always, Siri is quite expressive to get the point across. But now that she’s finally grown, even if smaller than most others, her lean frame could be considered petite or dainty.

Personality: Despite her silent nature, Siri is far from stupid. In fact, the time spent observing has pushed her ahead of others her age. Although sometimes frustrated that others can be slow to catch onto what she means, Siri has more loyalty than she does enduring patience in her early moons. While others are not quite certain if she’s shy or simply reserved, she’s always loved stories. Any time another was telling, she’d be there and listening. Her love of stories seems to provoke deeper thought as well, wanting to situations at things from all angles before deciding judgment on someone.

History: Siri’s early cubhood came to be during the last quarter-moon of Scar’s reign. She was never old enough to remember the feared King, but she had heard countless tales of his ruling. And depending on who was telling it, Simba was sometimes painted as the villain. It seemed odd, to her. Many of the lionesses agreed that Scar was willing to let the pride die of starvation, more than those that subtly supported the deceased lion.

It wasn’t until she was two moons old that her mother noticed something particularly odd – Siri didn’t speak. Even though other cubs had started just under a moon ago. Originally they thought she was shy, until it became plainly apparent that she simply couldn’t. Siri could often be found with Sarabi and Sarafina rather than her own mother, though, listening to their stories.

Although it did take longer for her to befriend the other cubs – Kopa and Nuka being the closest to her age – it did happen sooner or later.

Skills: Learning through observation has always been something she’s picked up on quickly. Her small frame also lends well to climbing, and hiding during the night.

Communication:
Although Siri is mute due to defective vocal cords (born prematurely), she can audibly sigh and gasp due to them just being exhaling and inhaling. The small lioness can also manage a modified hiss, and a raspy newborn cub-like purr. The rest of her communication relies entirely on body language and cues.
