With the wind picking up overtime, Simba continued jogging along, unaware that this mysterious lion was planning on some sort of attack. His eyes were glued on to the trespasser, inching closer and closer until he suddenly disappeared out of plain view. The king was surprised and slowed down his pace for a moment, only to get pounced so roughly to the ground flat on his furry orange back.
"Gah! Wh... Who are you?" Simba baffled and pressed those two large orange fore paws of his against the mysterious lion's chest.
Everything was blurry for a moment and his eyes weren't properly adjusting accordingly. The weight of this lion was enough to make him feel as if he had two herds laying on top of him. At first, he tried to budge but to no avail. He was in this lion's mercy and there was nothing he could do about it at this very moment.
Few more minutes went by and Simba's fuzzy ears perked up to hear a familiar sounding tone. The tone from this lion made him gasp softly as his blurry vision was beginning to clear up now and the furry face of Kivuli was in plain sight. He jaw dropped and let out a low, but intimating growl.
"Kivuli! It's...Y...You! What are you doing here?" He bellowed loudly, trying to get some advantage to get this banished Outlander off of him.
Upon hearing what Kivuli was saying, Simba's ears remained perfectly erect. He had no idea that his old nemesis was going to show up so suddenly, especially for the things that went down in the past that he would never forget. With Kivuli running his maw, Simba remained calm and tried to think of some way to get out of this mess. He couldn't come up with a solution to this problem and out of nowhere, his eyes caught a glimpse of his mate flying by so expeditiously and shrugging Kivuli off of him.
Quickly recovering and slowly moving back on all fours, Simba immediately glanced over to his beloved mate to make sure that she was fine.
"Are you okay Nala?" He asked and examined thoroughly over her attractive frame, making sure that there wasn't any bruises or any other signs of physical injury. After the thorough checkup, he leaned in to give his loving mate a tender nuzzle, followed by a warm lick across her furry cheek to show how much he loved the only lioness that made him felt completed in life.
After their little romantic time together, Simba glanced over to Kivuli and bared his sharp, razor like teeth.
"Kivuli, you do realize that coming back into the Pride Lands is a penalty. You honestly think you were innocent for what you did?" Simba asked and slowly moved in front of his mate, not wanting to take any chances now as he'll risk his life for anything to make sure that his mate will not get hurt.
