Was Ma the dominant female?

I say that Ma was the dominant female for the fact that she was able to name everyone in the colony during the hyena raid and she does have a body figure different from the rest of the meerkats there. She has the figure of one who has had lots of children if that makes any sense. Timon was probably her last pup.

I think she was the dominant female too, because there aren't any other female meerkats in the movie and there was no other leader in the meerkat colony.
I also think that uncle Max had an alpha function in the group, because he is old and hangs around Ma a lot.

Timon's dad was supposed to appear on the movie to tell him about the sun and the kingdom him mum told, but he was deleted.

I guess she was, but I'm not sure. There were many other females on the colony.

There were probably other females in the colony, but Ma seemed to show herself as the one that kept peace between all the meerkats and the primary care taker for everyone.

I believe Ma and Uncle Max are the leaders of the colony, because there two hints and clues about why they are. First, we here Uncle Max call out like a leader: "Alright, whost on sentry Duty?" Two Ma calls out everyone's names to find out is safe and in the tunnel during the hyena attack, before she realizes Uncle Max is missing.

Well, I was watching TLK 11/2 on my DVD, and in the deleted scenes, Timon DID in fact have a father, but they cut him out.

I'm guessing he died, possible. LOL

But yeah, I think Ma is the dominant female, after thinking about it.
