Delano smiled a little when he saw the waterhole. "Wow," he muttered, "That's... it's small."

Kasi looked at him curiously. "It ain't much, But it does the job." He said simply. "Now come on, you guys. Get cleaned up. We have lot's of time and little ground to cover." He smiled brightly. "Or was it the other way around?" He saw Delano and Muroki looking at him like he was a fool. "It's a local joke." He explained.

Delano shrugged. "Yeah, whatever." He went over to the waterhole and gratefully drank the water. It tasted slightly different than to what he was used to, but he didn't care. This was some of the best tasting water he ever had. Once he had his fill, he let Muroki drink also before getting in to wash up.

Muroki drank a little longer than Delano and then got in the water as well. He always enjoyed being water, especially now after not cleaning up or drinking for two days straight. However it wasn't a good moment to spend time in the water so he got out after a few moments before taking some distance from his dry cousin and shaking the water out of his fur.

Kasi looked over his cousins. "Yeah, that made a really big difference!" He told them. "Now you look good enough to walk through the lands with me. Let's go!" He turned and walked with his cousins behind him.

As they walked, Kasi played tour guide as he showed everything to see, which wasn't much. Finally, they came to the canyon. Two cliffs fell to the bottom of a long narrow river that made it's way through the ground. "You can see why this is one of the borders of our lands," he told them, "No one has made it across. Most don't try."

Delano looked down, amazed at the sheer drop. The hill they were on had sloping sides, but this was like the earth simply dropped down. "Wow, that's quite a sight."

Muroki was also amazed by how big of a drop it was. "I guess that means that there's no need to patrol here huh?" or maybe they did just in case, he didn't know. If anybody wanted to get through he would probably go around, and there probably were lions or lionesses patrolling those areas. "Looks like quite a drop..."

Kasi laughed. "Why patrol here? No one comes even to the other side. If they want to be sneaky, the come from where they can't be spotted long before they actually invade. This is the safest area in the land." He said. "Unless you want to get to that water down below. Then you might want to stay clear of the cliffs."

Delano looked again down the cliff before figuring that he saw enough and looked around. "So what's up with that hill over there?" He asked, pointing with a paw.

Kasi looked at where Delano was pointing. "That's the hill I told you about. We can go there, but there's no guaranteeing that it's safe there. Patrols don't go up it."

Muroki looked at his cousin, "Have you ever been there?" he doubted going to such a place would be a good idea, not after what happened the last time they did.

Kasi looked at the hill. "Me? Nah. I haven't been up there myself." He said. "Want to go up?" He asked, curious.

Delano inhaled sharply at the prospect. Paranoia or not, but he didn't want to go climbing up more hills any time soon. "N-n-no." He answered. "I don't feel like going up. Is there anything else in these lands?" Looking over, he saw that Muroki didn't want to up either.

Kasi shook his head. "Not that I am aware of. What do you want to do now then?"

Muroki figured it was pointless to mention he didn't want to go either, since he doubted Kasi would after Delano said that he didn't want to. "Yeah, anything else. Even the borders, so we know how far we should ever go around here."

Kasi nodded. "The borders? I can take you around them, maybe you can meet some of the patrol groups we have." So he lead his cousins to the closest border to show them the perimeter of their lands. "We won't be able to do the whole thing in one day," he said as they walked, "In fact, I've never been on the entire thing. With the kingdom actually being composed of several loosely tied together, our border is huge." Kasi explained. "Which is why we need standardized patrols. At least I can show you our local section."

Muroki chuckled, "I didn't mean walking around the entire border, that sounds boring." just knowing where the border was would be enough.
