Lina sighed, "I'm sure that you told them that a pride lives here. We wont be the only lionesses here when they wake up." she yawned and, since she was really tired, fell asleep right away.

The next day, Kasi woke up early. He looked around and was relieved to see that the others were still asleep. He yawned and stretched, getting rid of the last sleepiness he had. Walking outside, he looked around and at the sunrise as he waited for the others to also wake up.

Muroki was the one to wake up after Kasi. He expected to find the den full by the time he woke up, so he wasn't too confused to see lions and lionesses inside the den as well. For a moment he thought that he was the first to wake up, but then he noticed that his cousin was not in the den. Looking outside, he could see Kasi. He walked outside and sat down at his cousin's side, "Good morning." at least he wasn't tired anymore after finaly getting a good sleep.

He walked outside and sat down by his cousin's side, "Good morning." at least he wasn't tired anymore after finaly getting a good sleep.

Kasi looked over and smiled at Muroki. "Good morning to you too," he said, "How are you feeling?" He looked over Muroki. "You know, if you aren't too against it, we will need to get you and your brother cleaned up. Because, no offense, but the two of you stink." He laughed a little. "Don't worry about it. That will soon be fixed."


When Delano woke up, he noticed that Muroki and Kasi were not where they were when he fell asleep again. So he got up and walked carefully thought the small body of lions, noting two new lionesses, and headed outside. Sure enough, his brother and cousin were already there. "Good morning," he said. "Who are the two lionesses?" He asked, curious.


Kasi looked behind him when Delano approached. "Oh, hey! You're up!" He teased. Delano smiled a little. "The two lionesses are... they are simply lionesses who live in our den. Den-mates we call them. There are more families than dens, so dens are shared." He explained.

Muroki chuckled and what his cousin said, "Didn't notice. Must have had other things on my mind..." he looked down on his paws for a moment and then back at his cousin, "But I'm feeling better now." he looked at his brother after his cousin was done talking, "Well, I don't have a problem with sharing a den." it wasn't that his brother didn't know that they wouldn't be sleeping in a private then from now on. Why else would he ask such a question? Muroki thought but couldn't figure out the reason.

Kasi smiled. "Well then, if you will follow me, you two need a bath, and then I can show you around this place!" He said. "Might as well get to know your new home!"

Delano smiled. "Yeah. That's a good idea." He got up and followed Kasi, Muroki next to them. "It'll be good to bring life back to normal."

Muroki smiled and followed. It would also be nice to get some water into his dry throat as well as cleaning up. "Are there any interesting spots around here?" it will surely be nice to have a spot like the top of the hill they've been to two days ago. He still couldn't forget how beautiful the view was from up there.

Kasi thought. "Well there's the cliff. Or rather, a canyon with a river at the bottom, and I never figured out how to get to the other side." He finally said. "Well, no. There is a tall hill outside our lands." He quickly added."But other than that, this place is rather boring. And flat." He laughed a little. "But now I am going to show you our little waterhole. It's where you get all your water from." And so he lead them to the waterhole.

Muroki shrugged and followed, not able to think of anything else to say. The waterhole turned out to be even smaller than the one they had back home, which didn't matter to Muroki at all. He wasn't going back there anytime soon anyway, if at all.
