Heep shook his head. "He won't listen to me, fox. See, I used to be in a pack. I have already shown him that I am submissive. He is bigger and stronger than I, and there's nothing I can do," Heep told him.

Tai Lung heard all of this and then looked at Tails. "Listen boy, there is a chance for you to live, and that chance will be granted if you join my band," he said.

Scar stood tall and walked in front of Amadeus, "King Scar at your service." He said before chuckling. "The child shall not be released, well not yet at least." He said smiling evilly and widely.

Amadeus aimed his scimitar at the lion. "You look like the father of Scourge," he said in shock.

"I'm not. Nor have you ever seen me before, I'm new here and shall be victorious." Scar said chuckling after her comment.

Amadeus shook his head. "Whatever. I expect my son to be released," he said. Just then, Amy arrived on the scene, her giant hammer in hand. "Let Tails go, or I'll show you the meaning of pain!" the little pink hedgehog said.

"How about we make a deal?" Scar said. Maybe he could think of something she couldn't resist and get something in return for it.

The squirrel/chipmunk hybrid, Princess Sally Alicia Acorn-Hedgehog, looked at Scar. "No. We don't negotiate with evil-doers," she said.

"No one ever said I was evil. I'm just um how do you say a bad guy." Scar said. "If I were evil, how would I be king of the pridelands."

Sally looked down. "If you're really a king, why aren't you at your kingdom?" she asked.
