Scar leaped the fence in one bound Zira coming behind him. As he did so he was looked at Tai Lung, "Good job, their all gone." He said.

Scourge shook his head. "We're not out of the woods yet. Where the guards are, their captain, Amadeus Prower, will be. He's a talented fighter," he said. Inside, Amadeus was waiting for his son Tails to get in from the lookout mission he had sent him on. He stepped out. "Tails, where are you?" he called out.

Tails laughed, "You can't see me, but I can see you!" Still staying above the group, on the ledges.

Miles got mad, "I'm starting to shoot!" He said, starting to aim at where-ever he heard the laughs from the fox coming from. Still, he didn't have a correct spot. "Darn you fox, stay in one spot!" Yelling again, as the laughs still moved from place to place.

Zira stayed close to Scar, watching Mile rage at the fox.

Tai Lung heard the fox's laughter and walked over. "Whoever you are, show yourself! I have no time or patience for games!" he shouted.

Tail smiled, then laughed, while moving through the ledges. "If you have time to destroy you have time for games!" He knew exactly what he was doing.

Tai Lung snarled and began to climb towards where the voice was coming from. "Show yourself!" he said.

Shendu and Tublat had arrived following the group silently as they'd arrived at the palace.

"Perhaps a little persuasion is in order. This palace needs some redecoration." said Shendu.

He began firing laser beams from his eyes aiming where Miles shot but he kept missing as well. He stopped after a few attempts not wanting to bring the roof down. Shendu then breathed flames into the air hoping to daze the fox at least or trick him out of hiding.

Tublat meanwhile climbed one of the support beams to see where Tails was, but couldn't spot him yet. That fox was pretty fast.

Within the palace, Sonic heard the sounds of the event going on outside. His pink-furred cousin, Amy Rose Hedgehog, quickly joined his side after he said that he was going to check on Tails and his mission. The two hedgehogs rushed outside. "What's going on?!" Sonic called out as he saw the villains. At the same time, Amy looked for Tails. "Tails, where are you?!" she called out.

Scar walked up to Sonic, "Ah and who might you be?" He asked not afraid of the blue critter.

Amy sneered at the lion. "That's my cousin, Prince Mufasa. But you can call him Sonic," she said. Sonic held Amy close. "Yes, I am Sonic, and you will be sorry you came here today," he said.
