"I will miss you all too. But we'll be back in a month or two." said Vitani.

She picked up her bags from another room, joining Genie.

"So how are we traveling?" asked Vitani.

Kovu teared up as he ran into Vitani's arms." Please don't go Vitani, we want you here with us." Kovu said, tears running down his eyes as Mufasa and Sarabi approached them. " Vitani, you may not realize it yet, but underneath that raging emotional storm is an ocean of compassion, love and kindess. When you realize just how good you really are, Promise you'll come back." Sarabi said to her daughter. Mufasa sighed as he spoke. "Vitani, when your mother and I feared we lost you, it broke our hearts, we can't lose you again, but we can't make stay if you feel like you need to find your path. You might not know who you are, but we do, Your our daughter." The sultan said as he hugged her. "And Mine and Simba's sister, and Nala's sister-in law." Kovu added as he burried his face into Vitani's clothing. Mufasa turned to genie. "If anything happens to her, it's on your head Genie." Mufasa decreed. " And write often Vitani." Sarabi said as she hugged her again, the sultana was joined by Kovu and mufasa.

Genie smiled. "Fear not, oh rulers of Agrabah, nothing will hurt her on my watch!" he said proudly.

"I'll be back everyone. I promise. Kovu, you keep Simba out of trouble." said Vitani.

She leaned in and whispered to him.

"Be careful. You're the new King of Thieves now Kovu. Others will want that title and your new gadgets." whispered Vitani.

She turned to hear Mufasa threatening Genie and smiled.

"Don't worry Mu-dad. I can take care of myself but glad to know someone will have my back out there." said Vitani.

Genie smiled at the princess. "You ain't never had a friend like me!" he stated. He then summoned Carpet to him. "Your ride awaits, your highness," he said, turning into a royal carriage driver.

"This will be some adventure. See you soon." said Vitani.

She climbed onto the carpet and waved goodbye to her family dropping her two bags, grateful she traveled light onto carpet as well.

Genie smiled. "All right, get ready, Vitani, because we're out of here!" he exclaimed. He and Carpet took off, taking Vitani along. Simba then turned to Nala. "Well, Nala, soon we prepare to return to Agrabah. We'll be riding the elephant that I rode in on," he said.

Kovu nodded, his head still burried in Vitani's clothes till she broke away to board carpet. Sarabi put her arms arpund Kovu. "Don't be sad honey, she'll be back in no time." The sultana reassured her youngest son. "That's right Kovu, and if you want, we can hold off on a formal ceramony of your adoption until they get back. Kovu nsmiled as he nodded. " Ok Dad." He said before running towards Genie and carpet. He gave Genie a hug. " Bye Genie, promise you'll come back with Vitani?" He asked.

Genie, before they officially took off, nodded at the cub. "Don't worry, Kovu. I promise," he said. And with that, they were truly gone.

Queen Sarafina turned to Sarabi and Mufasa.

"It is good to see both of you again. I only wish our kingdoms were closer so we could see each more often." said Sarafina.

She turned to Nala, hugging her.

"Goodbye Nala. I'm glad you finally found someone. But I will miss you. Write to me as often as you can and come back to visit again soon." said Sarafina.

"I will mother. I may be moving away, but this will still be my home. Agrabah has just become my second home." said Nala.
