Digimon is not about mindless fighting though xD The main characters fight to save their lives, actually.

It probably is, I think you can easily find it on YouTube though. Meh, just do a google search if you don't find anything on YouTube (stupid copyright...).

When I was younger, it was all mindless butt-woop.

Good, I just refuse to watch it in Japanese. I'll look it up sometime.

I shall check out YouTube first, then. I should've thought of that xD

Cherish, I'm the same way. Watching something in Japanese can annoy me, especially if I'm used to the English version. The voices just don't match for me. That's why it took me so long to find my favorite anime, Wolf's Rain, on DVD. Kept running into Japanese ones.

I don't watch anime shows, but I love anime movies to death. Honestly, I have no idea why people whine to high heaven about the voices. They sound fine. No offense to anyone, but Japanese voices annoy me. I had to watch My Neighbor Totoro in Japanese and it was... not pleasant :/

Kops, we have similar digimon taste. I enjoyed season 3 a lot and frankly I fell in love with season four for whatever reason. Only two seasons I like.

Digimon's awesome... but Pokemon's Pokemon. They're different. Digimon is an action show, Pokemon is more of an adventure show. Apples and Oranges if you ask me. :3

Gabumon...jus' sayin'.

I love all his evolutions too. He was always my favourite. I think I'm going to have to look it up and watch it again!!

As far as subtitles go...I watch cartoons in English and live action in the language it was meant for ^^
Unless I'm watching it with Mr.Man, he prefers to have stuff in Cantonese XD

I prefer Pokemon, but Digimon isn't that bad. I used to like them both as a kid but my little brother didn't let me watch Digimon so it sort of faded away (He barely let me watch Pokemon, but he never let me watch Digimon). When it comes to anime, I watch it now and then, as a kid I used to watch it all the time and I prefer the Japanese to English voices. The english voices are annoying and I love the Japanese voices and language. Then again, I watch a lot of things in different languages with subtitles...

Yeah, I do much prefer the japanese voices. English dubs tend to be pretty awful, often just completely destroying who the character is supposed to be. x3

Indeed. Sometimes even the background track is louder than the dialog track and we can barely hear the voices >3<

Agreed. They are hard to get used to but I just paid attention to the subs only and got used to the voices xD Thank you for killing the personalities of the main characters, English dub. :(
