Meanwhile back at Mila's den Kivuli continued his story After being exiled i join with Zira and the others in the Outlands. I didn't know what to expect from her at first, then i found out. She was going to attack the Pridelands, and to do that she wanted us to train. It was brutal and unending. I was just getting used to peace in the Pridelands before i was exiled to a place where Zira brutally trained you. There was barely food and water to go round. Surviving was hard. It wasn't long before this young cub was old enough to start training and Zira said he was Scars heir. The one to kill Simba once his training was complete. That cubs name was Kovu. Eventually i grew sick of her plan. Yes i wanted revenge but i wanted it on my terms, so i ran away into the wilderness
Taking another breath, Kivuli readied himself to begin the final part of his tale I didnt know what to expect of the world past the Outlands but i soon found it was both amazing and harsh. the sights i have seen have stunned me. vast open deserts, snowy mountains, dense jungle. Ive been through everything. In these conditions i trained, learning skills most lions never know. In the early days i met some friends who traveled and trained with me. We were close, but of cause we had enemies. For almost a year it was a small war between us and them. 5 on 5 it was unending. Until we had the final battle. Everyone was killed except me. I had lost my friends again
The powerful memory of the battle that ran through Kivuli's mind was so powerful, tears began running down his face and dripping of soaking the floor of the cave. After settling back down he continued I gave my friends a burial in our favorite spot. It was a crystal clear waterfall in the middle of a dense jungle. Alone again i trained, and as i did i began to think about everything that had happened to me since i was born. For a whole year it played on my mind, until i decided i wanted to go back. As i ran through the lands i had come to know so well i wandered what i would do when i got here. I wasn't sure. I thought is Simba was not doing well id challenge him for leadership. If he was i would let things be and ask to be let back in. Eventually my journey ending i was back home here.
Kivuli looked at Mila. It was clear she was hanging on every word he said and took great interest in his tale. At least he thought so That is my story and how i came to be who i am today
