That's violent. The animation is better, too. Pokemon is really choppy, and all the characters have rainbow spiky hair. Is Pokemon even taking place on Earth?

Pokemon is taking place on an alternate universe or something xD The regions are based on locations in Japan, google it.
Yeah, it is somewhat better... Hmm. The old Pokemon animation gives me nostalgia, though. xD
I love how both shows went downhill after a few seasons... Digimon's first season was epic, the second was good, the third was epic, the fourth was great (IMHO, some people hated it), the fifth one was average, and the new, sixth one is... I don't even know what it is. It sucks so much. It's like... Digimon meets Transformers.

Lol, but I've actually never seen much of the Diganime. I watch all things in English dubs, though, and the voice acting doesn't seem bad so far.

They sound too mature for children though D: Once you get used to the Japanese voices you realise how much they fit. xDD It's really hard to find the Japanese version with English subs though... The dub completely killed the children's personalities. They're all freaking stereotypes... >.> And they made Mimi in the first season unbereably annoying. She wasn't that weak girly girl stereotype in the original, she was just a young, innocent girl lol... Hence her crest... IT'S EVEN WORSE THAN MYOTISMON'S CAT PUNS TOWARDS GATOMON! /rantrantrant

Not to interupt your conversation xD But personally I prefer Pokemon. I never really got into Digimon. I think it's because I never really could watch it...Never saw it on except for a few times. While I knew exactly when Pokemon was coming on. I'd race home after school just in time for that classic first season theme song.

Now Pokemon sucks. I can't stand the animation effects, the new voices, or even the horrible dialogue. The new Pokemon designs are just awful, not like the original 151. Though I do like them up to generation 3. Gens. 4 and 5 are...Ugh. *sigh* I always get so excited when I see clips of the old episodes or even the first few movies. I went to the California State Fair last week and there was a vendor selling packs of the old cards, in which I got two. Nothing exciting, but those cards are like gold to me. They bring back such wonderful memories.

I might look into Digimon. I do like the games. I just know that I tried to get into it a couple years back. They were showing it late at night, and I watched it because my show wasn't on...I was SO confused. I remember some of the original character designs, and the guys in this one looked just like them, only older. Naturally I thought it was a time-skip type of thing. Then a friend of mine told me it wasn't...It was all new characters. So...I think I'll stick to early seasons.

I'm like the complete opposite... I'd sit through all the crappy TV shows just to watch Digimon while I rarely watched Pokemon xB

And tbh I don't have a favourite human character, they're all cool to me lol.

And if you wanna start watching Digimon, start from season 1. It's considered the best season by a lot of fans (although I prefer the 3rd one... it's dull at the beginning but it's much more dark/mature in storyline).
