[Closed] Little Stranger (Taraji Chapter 1)

Vitani saw Kivuli leave with a certain satisfaction, pleased at how quickly he gave up his blatant disrespect in exchange for oily agreements and promises. She thought his ego was bigger than that, but was happy to sea this was not so.

At Simba's request Vitani left for the exit of the den, intending to catch up with Kivuli. As she reached the doorway however, she paused due to the rain that was now falling. As she stood there she saw that Mila had already taken an interest in Kivuli, and was striking up a conversation. From beyond came Nala who dashed up Pride Rock with a cry, passing Vitani. No sooner than she entered the den had she exited it, on her way back down Pride Rock with a sizable chunk of gazelle in her mouth. Vitani turned away from the exit seeing that Mela was taking care of the lion and Nala had no objections.

She walked back to where her kill had been lain and as she did so she spoke, explaining why she was coming back. "Mila's taken an interest in Kivuli and is escorting him herself." she said, then bent down to take a share of the kill she'd brought in. She didn't have too much though, not really having an appetite.

"It sounds like life in the pridelands must be a paradise in comparison. Isn't Simba a small price to pay for that? I mean, It's not like Simba's unreasonable right?"

Kovu sensed that a little upbeat energy might get Daxis back on track. At least he was moving well and seemed to have himself under control for the most part.

Looking up from his meal, Simba gazed at Vitani with an untrustworthy look in his eyes as he spoke.

”Hmm? Mila has already met Kivuli? Do you think I can trust him with her? She’s still quite young and…well, like I told you Vitani, I just have a funny feeling that he’s only back to cause trouble. Maybe I’m just overreacting though. I suppose Mila can handle herself if things get out of paw. Hopefully she will know to take him to one of the vacant dens near The Private Waterhole and doesn’t just invite him into her own den.”

Looking a bit worried still, Simba tried his best to return his focus back to the meal, all the while, thinking about Kivuli and the way he had spoke about him. Something just didn’t settle right with him but for now, he merely kept this as a thought in the back of his mind.

Mila watched Kivuli as he just stared at him, making her feel a bit uncomfortable. When he studdered on his own words, she gave a slight chuckle, and answered his question.

"I'm Mila." The lioness said with her equally cute tone, unintentionally seducing the lion.

Her words were followed by a strike of thunder which scared her a bit, making her flinch slightly. Soon rain followed, and she saw Nala come in and out of the main den in a hurry. She would have stopped Nala to talk to her about what she needed to talk about, but she seemed to be in a hurry, so she let it go. She knew she would get another time to talk to her later.

As she waited for Kivuli to speak, slight drops of rain tapped her tannish fur and began to soak it.

The slowly began to fall harder upon the two feline bodies at the edge of Priderock. Kivuli looked up to the sky and closed his eyes. He didnt mind the rain. He was used to it after his time in exile. He then lowered his head and spoke once more Well Mila, i have to say it is a pleasure to meet such a beautiful lioness. Yet i am suprised you would approach me. Most others just ignore me or see me as a threat

The rain was starting the get heavier, and the temperature was dropping. Kivuli was not bothered. Mila however was beginning to shiver. Feeling sorry for her, Kivuli moved his warm body next to hers in an attempt o keep her warm Maybe we should talk inside. Is there a place we could go He then looked into the main den where Simba was and knew fine well the king would not allow him to stay in there

Mila blushed at Kivuli's comment of beautiful, but the rain was quickly beginning to make the lioness shiver. She thought about the nearest den or cave around that wasn't the main den, because she didn't want any unneeded attention at this time. She didn't want any attention other then Nala, but now that she had introduced herself to Kivuli she felt the need to show him around and such.

Kivuli stepped closer to her, making her feel a bit uncomfortable, even though he was just trying to be polite and keep her warm in the cold weather. He was just introduced to her though, so she didn't exactly know how to handle such a move. In haste she replied to the lion. "My den isn't too far from here. We can stay there until the rain stops. Come on!" The lioness said after her thoughts, starting her run halfway into her sentence. Her exquisite curves and muscles were shown off during her sprint towards her den, and being the young lioness that she was, didn't really think about being in front of Kivuli while heading there.

Mila slowed down at the entrance to the den, hoping that she hadn't gotten too wet and that her fur was still looking good. Not noticing whether Kivuli was next to her or not, she gave her fur a quick shake to loosen up the excess water droplets from her soft and delicate fur. Upon finishing, she ran towards her sleeping pelt and invited Kivuli in, as he was looking around the den curiously.

Mila giggled. "Come on in, I don't bite." she said with a fit of giggles , almost unnecessarily. She didn't know why she would invite this lion to her den right after meeting him. It was just her kind nature, the rain, and the odd feeling of security next to this lion that forced her to make her quick decision to invite him to her most sacred places.

The rain continued to fall harder. On hearing Mila's word that she had a den nearby lifted Kivuli's spirit a bit. Lead the way please Kivuli then follows Mila round the side of Priderock. It was not a long walk bit long enough to drench the both of them. Shortly they arrived at a small cave on the side overlooking the Pridelands. Kivuli then heard that angelic voice again inviting him in, it was accompanied by a small giggle

Grateful of the offer, Kivuli padded into the private den of Mila's. It was just big enough for the two of them to move round. It was nice and warm and kept the rain out. Once inside he gently shook his dark fur to get rid of the water and to make sure not to dampen Mila. He then lay down look outside. The rain was heavy now and it was difficult to see more than a few meters. Kivuli then looked over at the stunning beauty once again and spoke Thank you for your shelter, i hope your king doesn't take this the wrong way

Upon hearing Kivuli, Mila was confused. "What are you talking about?" she asked, obviously unaware of why her dad would take giving Kivuli some shelter in a wrong way. "I don't see why he would get mad about a thing like that." She was just being a kind and polite lioness in her mind. And while this conversation was happening Mila eyed Kivuli's frame and admired it. He was different from the others for some reason.

Kivuli sighed at the questions that she posed. He thought about if she could be trusted. He decided yes and then answered her. Me and Simba have a long history, and no ta very good one. My coming here is dangerous but i wanted to return. I I wanted to return to the pride. Simba accepted but with rules. I need to pull my own weight and to stay away from his wife and the rest of his family

Kivuli then turned his lazy head towards her and saw that she was examining him. Giving a smirk and a chuckled he asked. You like what you see Mila? or are you just one of these curious types? Kivuli lay there watching her and waited for her response

"His family?" She blurted out. Mila WAS part of Simba's family. Does that mean this lion wasn't trustable? She had no clue what to do now that Kivuli was unknowingly breaking Simba's rule. Mila didn't want to have him breaking her dads rule, but she also wanted to spend time with this new lion.

When Kivuli chimed up for the second time, she blushed and stopped her staring, darting her gaze towards the rock wall of the den she lived in. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..." she said with an innocent tone, obviously embarrassed about it because her tannish cheeks were turning into red cheeks.

After another little silence, Mila just had to tell Kivuli.

"I'm Simba's daughter..." She said, a bit ashamed. From that, and from the embarrassment that had just occurred moments prior.

Kivuli gre a little concerned, he was breaking Simba's rule, yet how was he to know this lioness was part of the royal circle. See the concern in her face he went over to he and sat down I dont mean to ca\use trouble. While your father said to leave his family alone i swore i would die before letting harm come to you

Kivuli then noticed her still looking at him out of the corner of her eye. She was trying to hide the fact she was starting at his body but it wasn't fooling this grey beast. Hehe i can see you looking at me. There is nothing to be embarrassed about look all you wish He then noticed her blushing cheeks, which instantly made him blush when he said Wow you look, cute when you blush
